1B/OF Vic Wertz My predecessor used this quality, hard hitting lefty in RF almost 3x more than at 1B. But he doesn't fit into my plans in either position. His numbers were down last year (.262/.390/.383) over his career performance (.286/.376/.456), but at age 30, he's a little young to begin talking about career decline. probably has several good years left in him....
RF-CF Jim Rivera He was used almost exclusively in CF and sat in the leadoff spot in the lineup (.315/.390/.470). I don't particaularly want to trade him, but I need to make room for Charlie Maxwell in my lineup.

I'm needing 2B, and a RHSP who could fit in the 4th spot in the rotation.

Update: Now that Wertz and Rivera are traded to Cleveland and 2B Avila and RHSP Necciai are coming to Boston, I don't really have any specific players on the trade block nor am I currently shopping for a 2B or a 4th slot SP.
Needs: I would like to strengthen my MR corps and I wouldn't mind getting a good swing man; plus I may want a good LH bat for a pinch hit role. I'll be scouring GEBA to fill these spots, but I'll entertain any offer you want to make me; I'm always open to discussing deals for any player in my organization (except Ted Williams).

Since adding Torgeson, at this time I'm not shopping for LH pinch hitter. I'm ready to test this roster in spring and early season. I'll make updated evaluations then and post what I'll be looking for.
In the meantime, I'm still open to any trade talks (except for Williams) you wish to initiate. I'm always open to any way to improve my organization. I'm currently reviewing my minor league organization. After the draft I may be posting my prospect needs.
