Many of you e-fed veterans are familiar with the age old question: is this an angle based fed or a roleplay based fed? Some of you are even familiar with the debate. Many prefer angle feds to roleplay feds while others like roleplay feds over angle feds. GDW is unique in that it provides somewhat of a hybrid of the two, although I'm not sure I would classify us as a hybrid fed. If anything we are primarily a roleplay based fed.

What makes GDW unqiue, though, is how we handle our two shows. Yes, that's right, two shows. How can a primarily roleplay based e-fed have two regular shows? Isn't that a bit much?

Allow me to explain

Tuesday Night Terror
This is the angle based portion of the e-fed. It occurs every week. Tuesday Night Terror has one purpose: to advance storylines and build up/hype pay per views. Any matches you are booked in for this event will be against a jobber and you will win that match. Since it has been predetermined that you will win whatever match you have been booked in for this show, that means you do not have to roleplay for Tuesday Night Terror at all unless you just want to. This will be the set up for Terror unless two or more parties agree ahead of time on something different. If you decide ahead of time that your character suffering a loss would be best for the story and you're willing to do it, let me know and I'll write that in. If you and someone else want to have a legitimate match decided by roleplay scores then let me know and I'll book it. Otherwise you'll be booked against a jobber and you'll win. The matches are not necessarily what's important here anyway. For this show its the segments.

Friday Night Fever
This is the flagship show. It occurs every other week. That is important so let me repeat that: it occurs every other week. This is the roleplay based portion of GDW. Matches booked for this show are decided based on roleplay scores. This will be the pattern for Fever unless the two parties booked in the match agree ahead of time on an angled outcome. Friday Night Fever, in short, is the standard/typical show that you'd expect from a roleplay based fed.

GDW, while having components of both angle and roleplay feds, still primarily leans more towards the roleplay based. Therefore most of the important stuff happens on Fever. Championships are decided on Friday Night Fever, not Tuesday Night Terror. I do not want championships changing hands based on an angle. I'm not saying that it will never happen but there's a darn good chance I will turn you down if you want it to happen.
