RALEIGH, NC: Representatives of the newly formed GDW Wrestler's Union came out today and announced that "The Homeless Hero", Revolution Champion, and number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship Mystic had been elected to serve as the first ever GDW Union President.

"We here at GDW look forward to working with Mystic." GDW President Kayla Jones said in a statement after the announcement. "We wish him luck and we believe he will do a good job representing the athletes here at this great company."

Others within GDW did not share in Jones' enthusiasm.

"It is a shame, a damn shame, that some unwashed, homeless lunatic like Mystic would be voted in to represent the wrestlers on our roster." GDW Assistant Vice President Matt Alan said. "Things like this were what Suffrage was intended to stop. We blame this on Kayla Jones. We hold her responsible for any trouble that Mystic causes as he tries, in a vain attempt, to uphold his duties as Union President."

GDW Owner Mike Michaels could not be reached for comment. One has to wonder, though, how Mystic will react to this announcement? Will it affect his focus and concentration heading into the world heavyweight championship main event at Desperate Measures against Glory Braddock or will it just serve as more motivation and more momentum heading into this epic encounter?
