Rules
This forum has some rules that you need to follow. You must follow these at all times. The moderators have the right, but not the obligation to delete, lock or edit posts. They also have the right to ban and punish users accordingly. The rules are below:

Listen to what the moderators and administrators say.

They have authority over the members, and are responsible. They are in a position of power around here, so don't mess with them. Just do what they ask you to and you won't get in trouble, but ignore them and more serious consequences will be coming your way.

Don't Flame At Other Users

Flaming is like attacking, insulting, defaming, or saying something rude to another user, or the staff. This is not allowed. You don't have to agree with someone, but that doesn't mean you can flame at others. If someone is flaming at you, don't flame back, you'll get in just as much trouble. If someone is flaming, contact a Moderator or Administrator, it's their job to help out members.

Do Not Moderate If You Aren't A Moderator

If you aren't a moderator, don't moderate. Simple. Moderators are moderators for a reason, and they do their job well. Leave their job to them. If you see something bad going on, feel free to contact a moderator about it. A note at the end of a post is fine, don't post just to tell someone they did something wrong.

Do Not Spam

This is simple. Spam is a message that is off-topic or 3 words long. Also spam is posting a message many times. Anything that is not relevant or that doesn't contribute to the topic is also spam. Exceptions for the games section

Don't Go Off Topic

Don't do it. Plain and simple. If someone is talking about sports, don't talk about your hamster. Don't post if it is irrelevant to the topic. Keep on what the discussion is about.

Post In The Right Place

We have the forum organized into sections to organize topics. Please post in the right place. If it is off, then it will be moved and a friendly reminder from the moderators will be sent your way. Just try your best and you won't get in trouble too much. (Unless you keep doing it)

Don't Double Post

This is when you post a message, and then post again back-to-back. We have an edit button in the corner of your post so you can add in whatever you need to without double posting. This is allowed if you have a long post though.

Don't Abuse The Private Message System

Sometimes people join and send PMs to advertise something, or just send rude messages for no reason. If you get a rude, offensive, or spam PM, just notify a moderator about it and we can fix the problem.

No Innapropriate Topics. No Swearing

Inappropriate topics include (but are not limited to) topics that are: vulgar, obscene, offensive, hateful, slander, threatening, or sexually oriented. These are not allowed and not tolerated. Political discussion is only for the Debate forum. Use common sense to decide what is not allowed.

Don't Try To Get Around The Filter

We have a filter in place to block innapropriate words, phrases, or even websites. If you see that a word is replaced by **** then it is filtered. Do NOT go back and edit it so it will show up. That is not tolerated at all. They are filtered for a reason. Respect it.

When someone breaks a rule, the staff will take various actions. Read the Strike Policy for more information.

And that is it. If you have a question about the rules, PM a moderator and they will be happy to help you out.

Thanks,

The Management
