Game Progress thread, tell us how far you are at present

You, uh, don't have to use the Walk Through Everything code. I can find you the Action Replay DS codes easily to get the Member's Card the not-so-legal way...

I used that code a long time ago on Pearl. So it really doesn't matter to me. I just want to wait and see if they do another event for it.

I have two things for this post. First, the game progress, as usual. :/

Grand Chase: Finally got the first part of Amy's Starlet mission done yesterday and I'm working on the second part. So far, I have all of the dungeon stuff done and I'm working on the PvP stuff, which is still a pain to do, with the load errors booting me out every room I enter (or make), and lag spikes cause my game screen to freeze for a seconds or a minute! Only 6 out of 15 wins so far in my progress. >_<

Update: Well, I finally got the second part done, but I have encountered two MP hackers, one who was a Battle Mage on the opposing team, spamming Deep Impact and Air Blast/Thrust (Killed my partner first, then me.) and a Striker using nothing but Blade Spirit on my side. >_< (I quit the match, because I didn't want to get my last cert by being a hacker's partner.) I'm going to re-watch the replays, write down the filenames and then send them to the 1:1 support and get their rears pwned.

Now, new games acquired.

First up is Brawl. Bought it from Game Access a few days ago and got the box a few days ago. [Here's a replay vid my bushy brother recorded and put up]

And the second one was a surprise for me when I checked out my e-mail and... What's that sound? *Looks behind him.* O_O TANK!!!!

Yes, it's Left 4 Dead! My own copy that my brother gave me for a late b-day gift. XD I haven't got it set up for my account yet, but I'll get to it when I have access to a good computer.

Well, good news. I was going to keep this to myself for a while, but I better tell everyone; after all, it does have to do with a couple games I'm gonna be (re)purchasing soon.

I'm the proud owner of a new laptop.

Running OS: Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Processor: AMD Athlon TF-20 (Need to upgrade THIS...)
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3200
RAM: 2 GB
HDD Space: 160 GB

Now, the games I want to purchase will come a little later, seeing as how I need to get a couple accessories for this first (namely, a laptop lock, USB hub, travel mouse, travel speakers, other things). The games I'm looking forward to purchase are Team Fortress 2 and Portal, though I'm also looking to get some emulators running on this (Like PCSX2, for running Playstation 2 games when I don't have a PS2 available to me).

What else should I look to get, both game and accessory wise?

Question...is it backwards-compatible with some XP games, or do you have to do the same "run as administrator" thing you had to do with Vista?

I want to know if my next computer will run MSTS.

I'm not honestly sure. I'm gonna try and install a couple games I already have (My sister's copy of The Sims Complete Collection, for example, since she has The Sims 2 and doesn't play the first one anymore) and see what happens.

Grand Chase(Currently reinstalling it to try and fix the mission tab glitch... again.): Finally got the stupid Starlet mission done at 10:00 PM or so on Sunday. So, I'll have all of the current perm accessories and crests. I do NOT want to go back to the awful Player vs Player mode for a lllloooonnnngggg time. >_<

And I tried to play some Left 4 Dead last night with my brother, Apoc Hedgie, and after a certain amount of time, mostly when I shoot at one of the Infected, the game crashes on me. Strangely, it doesn't affect my other brother's playing. (Random Talking Bush.) So, I don't think I'll be able to play that game until we figure out what's going on. :<

Okay, so I installed The Sims 2 and the Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, and Freetime Expansion Packs. It runs great, no need to disable UAC; You authorize it once to install and once to run, and you can keep running it on Windows 7.

I believe this Penny Arcade comic sums up Windows 7.

Just beat Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Going to play it again on challenge mode than I'll come back and give a review of it...

Next in line for playing: Uncharted 2

Hazz, you mean you'll be playing it on Challenge Mode until either the Heat Death of the Universe or you get a full 100% completion with all weapons, all Skill Points, et cetera et cetera. That's how Ratchet & Clank games go, you don't just play it on normal and New Game Plus modes once. You are REQUIRED to get 100% on it. It's an unwritten code by the Insomniac Games forebearers, and I should know. I've been playing Insomniac's outings since Spyro (though you will NEVER see me play Resistance, it's not my kind of gme).

Normally yes, but I am quite the trophie whore, so I intend to get the trophies first than proceed to get the skill points, as I'm thankful they are not part of the system. Although, I'm still annoyed they leave the meaning hidden...just tell me what do darnit!

Final fantasy 5 GBA
Defeated bahamut using the meteor+mime trick and now have all 12 legendary weapons.

i still have a few more summons to get my hands on before I head into the rift.

I dislike getting Odin in that game. Setting a time limit on a battle with a guy that can kill you instantly. D=
