No current games, but replaying some old favorites...

Now playing: Shinobi

After a number of setbacks, I managed to obtain all Oboru coins (50) and playing through all the levels with Jow Musashi (original Shinobi). Unlocked a VR level area and will not attempt it....makes the whole game look like a playground...I kid you not 0_0

Psychonauts PS2
Made it through the guard/milk man's mind... that was freaky. It wasn't too hard now that I know you have to call ford for advice the first time through.

Super Metroid SNES
going through on an item run (trying to pick up everything), will be going after Phatoon soon.

When your into a game, "your into a game" smile.gif

Medievil 2 was much more polished in terms of polygons, but the overall game play is still the same. Weapons from the first game reappear in the second, but some new weapons are added as well, with most being gun powder based such as pistols, rifle, or gatling gun.
Another new feature is the ability to take your head off and place it onto a wandering zombie hand in a level your in. You can't attack when on the hand, but you can access hidden area's that might contain goodies or money needed to progress through the game.

The plot is very much the same as the first one. Whereas Zarok from Medievil 1 tried to take over Gallowmere with his zombie army back in the 12th century, it now fast forwards to the 19th century England and a man named Palethorn has found Zarok's staff and his spell book, minus a few pages. He uses them to summon the undead and very much wants to do what Zarok did, but on a world scale. Of course, much like Zarok, he makes the mistake of reviving Danial Fortesque, who must put a stop to his schemes and return to his rest.

Overall, it plays much like the first one and even with new weapons and features, it might not appeal to the player in search of new material. The second Medievil game is probably for fans of the first only. But if you can still find it in a bargain bin, then go ahead and pick it up -_^

Hmmm....I wonder if Anthony Bault might end up like that one day. Lying in some Arcadia crypt and then is revived to battle evil once more...minus a jaw =P

Psychonauts PS2
Got through Gloria's mind and starting on Fred's. Neither are as seriously f***ed up as Boyd's paranoid conspirisy ridden mind.

I played through Psychonauts in one sitting. I didn't collect everything, but I got close. Did it before I had a job though.

It seriously only took me eight hours to get through.

O_O

Um...

You might find this odd, but...

...my being revived in the future was an idea I had for a future fic, but I rejected it. Too silly.

Personally I thought the gods would eventually grant Anthony divinity.
