• A Warlord Prince periodically goes into what is called "The Rut." During this time, usually lasting over a few days to a week, depending on the man himself. The sex drive overpowers everything else, giving him the need and stamina to service an entire coven of women, the catch is that he will focus all his need onto a single woman. It is during this time that the Warlord Prince's violent nature comes into play, rumors spread amongst the people of women who have had tongues torn, nipples bitten off, broken bones and worse. Though again, it depends on the man. Any man during this time is a rival, any woman other than that he has chosen is prey. The Rut is usually brought on by prolonged periods of sexual tension/frustration. Though each case differs.
  
  
  
• Any female blood may be a black widow, though few are natural, the majority of the Black widow covens have been taught their craft. The physical changes that come with being a natural Black Widow (most notably the 'snakes tooth' beneath the fingernail) usually come with the onset of puberty. The snake tooth must be milked periodically unless used, as the poison builds up and will crystallize if left too long. Causing excruciating pain, and in worst case scenario's ending with the need to amputate the whole arm.
  
  
  
  
• Priestesses may petition to be the care taker of the dark alters, and similarly Queens may petition's to become the Queen of their territory.If you wish to take up one of these position's just pm the Admin, and you will take up the position, with a 5 day trial period. Queens need to be actively involved in rp (as the 'focal point of the blood's society), and so they will be monitored mostly on activity. Upon application for these positions you will be pm'd your duties just to ensure you understand them.
  
  
  
• To make the offering you must make 10 In Character (IC) posts, and then rp the offering out at one of the Dark Alters, where the residing priestess will be PM'd your descent and shall present you with your jewel. All offerings shall be random unless Pre-Ordained for Cannons, or as part of the COTM awards prizes.
  
  
  
• Each Territory Queen has a court, containing a Steward who is somewhat of a caretaker of her estate, a Consort who's role should be self explanatory, a Master of the Guard, who looks after all security matters, as well as her first circle containing her closest friends,family and advisers, and then the second, third and so on circles containing among others the district and province queens of her territory.
  
  
  
• To apply for Province or District queen ship just PM both your Territory Queen and Admin. No trial period applies. District and Province queens both have courts with the same basic structure.
  
  
  
• Male Black Widows will be available, though on a severely limited basis.
  
  
  
• Dual castes are freely allowed, Triple castes are also allowed but only on a restricted basis. See the petitions page HERE For information on applying for a triple caste female or duel caste male.

Below you will find a list detailing the available Races.

Eyrien- The Eyrien's are the winged warriors of the Blood realms, a long lived race, known to live for thousands of years. The males train in hunting camps to learn to fight, they call the mountainous region of Askavi their home, and the perilous blood run, khaldaron run, and run their playground. A proud race, prone to arrogance, and a brutal honesty. The eyriens accomplishments boast their own language, and a strong naming tradition (all males names end in 'ar' and all females in 'an'). Typically the Eyriens have golden brown skin, golden eyes and dark straight hair, also Eyrien's like all the long lived races do not grow facial hair.

Dhemlan- Another of the Long lived races, the Dhemlan people boast paler skin than either the Eyriens or Hayllians, but the same golden eyes and dark hair.They call Dhemlan their home. Also like all the long lived races do not grow facial hair.

Hayllian-The long lived Hayllian race boasts golden brown skin, golden eyes, and dark hair, and call Hayll in Terreille their home. Also like all the long lived races do not grow facial hair.

Dea Al Mon- The elfin race, known for their ferocity and secrecey, they typically have pointed ears and silvered hair. While they live longer than the average human, they don't live so long as those of the long lived races, usually about 2000 years at most, compared to th 5000 or more of the long lived races.

Kindred- Kindred are the blood animals, or as some call them the furry blood. Wolves,dogs,horses, just about any animal. They're intelligent, and gifted in craft, loyal and lovable. Includes Arcerian Cats (white tigers, but bigger, reside in Arceria), Unicorns(from Sceval), Arachnian spiders(from Arachna), Fyreborn Dragons (smaller than normal dragons, from the Fyreborn islands)

Satyrs- Living around 300 years usually, the satyrs have goat legs, horns and call the territory of Pandar their home

Centaurs- Living around 500 years on average the Centaur race proudly race across the plains of centauran. They have the lower body of a horse, and the upper of a human.

Pixies- These tiny people call the island of Philan(one of the paw islands) their home, and basically they are Blood Fairies. boasting tiny wings and tiny statures, usually standing no more than 10 centimeters tall.

Glacian- one of the short lived races, living on average 200-250 years, they typically have pale skin and blond, or silvered colour hair, calling the icy land of Glacia their home.

Tigres- these tawny skinned people spot both tails and claws, and call the territory of Tigrelan their home

Short-lived- the people of each territory that do not fall into one of the above. They live on average 200-250 years, and have no features that are specific to this race, other than they have no features.
-The Tacean Race amongst the short lived are portrayed here as being of asian descent.

Protocol and Blood Law

Protocol Titles are as follows.

Prince-Warlord Prince & Prince
Lord- Warlord

Lady- Any witch of the Blood,
Priestess- Priestess's

Protocol dictates that any request made of a queen by a Warlord Prince be acquiesced to unless she no longer wishes him to serve. Of coarse this depends on the situation, and is at the Queens discretion.

A man must never hide his hands when approaching a Warlord Prince if he wants to keep his life.

Blood Law

A prayer offered with blood is a plea to the darkness.

The Darkness is the deity in witch the blood beleive, she (usually refferred to in the distaff gender, or as it) is the well from which the Blood sprang, starting with the first of the Blood Dragons, and then they gifted their magic to the rest of the races that care for the land.

Basic Craft

The following things fall under basic craft which all members of the blood can do, even those who are broken, or lost in the twisted kingdoms (madness)

• Warming spells
• Levitation of objects
• Vanishing objects into your "space" (the "space is invisible, and varies in size according to your jewel strength, the darker you are the more stuff you can carry with you)
• Passing objects through one another (eg. Self through a wall)
• Globe lights (balls of magical light)
