Jimbo.. you remoted to his PC?? Really? You can do that??? Wouldn't his firewall prevent that?

If JOSB allowed it in RDC then, yeah it can be done. There are also a host of 3rd party programs that can do it as well. Did it for a couple of tech jobs that I have had. RDC can be a liability because the customer can't see what the tech is doing but there are some cool java/web based programs that allows the customer to see exactly what the tech is doing and can even stop the tech just by grabbing thieir mouse.

Pretty scary, actually. But I guess you would have to allow someone access, I hope.

He was running out of memory when he started the game, so his system was paging memory to disk, causing lots of lag. He is supposed to be grabbing another gig of ram after work tonight and I am going to help him get it installed

Sweet, now I can start owning his ass again!
