12.02.06: Congratulations to everyone who participated in NaNoWriMo - whether you made it or not! Apparently we had some spammers, but I'm clueless about them; thanks to Lly and Lucy for taking care of that. I'm tidying up the boards now. Hopefully we can get back on our crooked little track soon. =] I'm sorry about the neglect. Oh, and welcome to new members who aren't spambots!

You.
Your Name: Elle
Your Age: 14
Anything to add?: .. I luffle Nightwing <3

Your Character.
Name: Gwen Ada Trevelyan
Age: 22
Profession: Street photographer and musician
!----Please make the next four fields about a paragraph; well-described and to the best of your ability - especially the sample RP----!
Appearance: Tall and willowy with long fingers and legs covered in childhood scratches and scars, with light brown skin, knobbly knees and freckles, Gwen has wide, vibrant green-blue eyes set under expressive brows. Her smile is wide, crooked and infectious and reveals mostly white teeth and noticeably pointed canines. Her hair falls in thick, slightly coarse ringlets a little past her shoulders and is a deep auburn-red in hue, normally held back in a thick if messy braid. Her sense of fashion is unique and memorable; she favours bright colours and bohemian styles, and prizes a few items she wears over and over again – a pair of worn purple and white sandshoes, a rainbow hued tie-dyed kaftan, striped armwarmers, a necklace of black and rainbow glass beads set in copper wire and a satchel covered in patches of suede in shades of blue, purple and green.

Personality: Gwennie's always affable and offbeat to the point of madness. She likes to think of herself as independent and individual, someone who rejects the status quo and makes her own nook in society. She loves observing people as though she were watching some sort of particularly fascinating and slightly gory documentary and tends to try to analyze people. She’s very outspoken and can be overly critical of others, but comes down hardest on herself. She looks down on people sometimes, and dislikes crybabies and tattletales ferociously, coming from a household where everyone learnt to be able to look after themselves as well as the odd child floating around in need of care.

History: When she was four, her parents divorced, leaving her and her baby brother in a custody battle. Her successful, driven mother would have won the court case if Gwen’s maternal grandmother hadn’t put her foot down, rightly saying that neither parent had the time to properly look after them both and promptly whisked the siblings away to her surburban house before either their mother or father knew what was going on. Gwen grew up up surrounded by cousins, young aunts and uncles, neices and nephews – her grandmother’s sprawling house was a haven for every unwanted child, every family member out of favour, and looked it. But however enjoyable she found her childhood, it meant there wasn’t always attention devoted to her – her father visited once or twice a week in a good month, and her mother came even less, though the two kept in touch via letters and emails (after Gwen bought herself a laptop at fourteen). She often left the house to play in the park or wander up to the shops and buy (or beg) icecream without anyone noticing from the age of six. She learnt to be self-sufficient early on and had plans to move out for college when she was ten. She got her first job at thirteen by lying about her age and went into the city three times by herself for work experience at fifteen. She’s in-between jobs at the moment, but has decided to probably set her sights at working in one of the numerous cafes around town. She really hasn’t been affected by Exodus yet; she’s never tried her hand at writing anything beyond schoolwork, as she used to suffer mild dyslexia. Now she can read but it gives her headaches, and she’s always preferred visual art – though that isn’t to say she always will.

Sample Roleplay: I’ll assume as I already joined Ari I may skip this bit..? *ish lazy*

Misc.
What other characters do you play?: Ari, bless ‘er.
How did you find this site?: .. look at my previous post, cause I don’t remember o.0 RPGC?

"It's really not so good to have time. Rush, scramble, desperation, this missed, that left behind, those others too big to fit into such a small space--that's the way life was meant to be. You're supposed to be too late for some things. Don't worry about it."
