_____________Rules & Guidelines
These are only slightly negotiable and must be read before you join.

[1] One account per person. To avoid confusion, it is advised that you put the names of all your characters in your signature.

[2] No flames. Consideration required.

[3] Please, please trye two schpell cohearantlee. No, really: your posts must reflect your literacy, as this is an intermediate—advanced game. We sympathize with the odd typo, but it takes under three minutes to run a post through a word processor.

[4] Issues OOC should not effect issues IC, and vice versa. In short: don't take it personally!

[5] EGG system! Nothing Explicit, Graphic, or Gratuitous regarding sex and bloodshed. Mature content (everything leading up to sex) must be agreed to by all players involved in the scene and clearly tagged as such. Sex scenes, if players insist, must be kept off the board. We suggest PM.

[6] Do not use chat-speak (Lyke h3ylp! ZOMGBBQ!!1!) or denote actions with asterisks. *ushers messy asteriks into OOC*

[7] Reply to the person above you thoughtfully. In certain circumstances (e.g., fast-paced fights) the post may be a one-liner; however, it should be a nice, full sentence, sprinkled with commas and semicolons and all of that good stuff. Paragraphs are preferable, long posts are loved - just don't be long-winded.

[8] Curse tastefully, if there is such a thing. There are situations where your character will be exploding with anger. That is excusable; that is life. There are people who litter their posts with the f*word; that is not. Not tasteful, not intelligent, not wanted.

[9] Please do not talk extensively about the plot ((like this)) IC. Quick notes are permissible, but do the majority of your OOC plotting in (shock ;]) the OOC Plot forum.

10] Try not to abuse smilies or color. It may hamper other players and gives the forums a cluttered look.

11] Don't powerplay. Mods should not godmod and should follow member rules as well.

_____________Out of Character Specific (all above apply)

[1] Keep cursing down farther. No f*word or derogatory terms.
[2] Minimal chat-speak is permitted but limited to easy-to-cipher abbreviations: lol, omg, brb, etc… 1337 not appreciated.

_____________Consequences

Failure to comply with these rules and netiquette will result in the following chain of events:

[1] A verbal warning from the Mod Squad, via PM or on the spot.
[2] A visual warning. See those green squares? Well, they know how to turn red.
[3] A temporary ban and final warning PM from the administrator.
[4] A permanent ban.

Inactive Member Policy
Members must log in at least once every two months.
Post frequency should not hinder other members in their game.
Inactive members will receive a warning via email after the first two months, after which they will be given an additional week to respond.
If the member does not respond, his or her account will be inactivated. The profile will be moved to the mortuary. It is possible to restore deleted characters.
