Seriously, your updates are way too far apart to just have those for new pics, and nobody is going to comment when there is nothing to comment on!

Yes development is going slow, mainly due to the lack of a texture artist...

Ingame shots look horrible because of this, and we are still working on the format of the infantry squads, so we are not going to show them off yet tongue.gif

So yeah, sorry but we have basicaly run out of things to show off at the moment, if we do get some good textures onto our units there will be loads of stuff we will be willing to show ya, including ingame action shots/short demo movies... (If I can get the recording working...)

Well you guys should have something to show, the thing is I'm guess you have a 'secret forum or two where the action happens. and I'm sure you guys want people to be involved and comment on things and such(and if not you should!) but how can they? Theres nothing to see or even read thats been updated in almost 2 months, the last being about the Warhound, which I will say is awesome. I mean I wouldn't have even found this place if it weren't for that orange knight guy posting an unofficial update on the GPG forum. He didn't even have anything to show, but thats alright, at least someone is saying something.

And I'm not saying you guys need daily updates, but 2-3 months is pretty ridiculous I think even you have to admit.

I guess you could try every 2-3 weeks, but you guys seem to only want to show finalized things, which is fine, finalized things are great, but is someone comes up and says "what about ______" well then you likely have to go back and redo-things.

And if you want people to get involved, as I said before you have to give them a chance for it, you said right now that your working on the format for the squads, well have you thought about asking what the players want? Obviously you still get the final say but still, it gets people involved in the best way because they care enough to try and help you guys figure it out.

Get out there and get people involved, look at some of the other threads that Mods have, most of the time there is a conversation going on and people are involved, and most of those are just for unit packs! Imagine what kind of crowds a full blown TC could draw? Especially if you guys can be 'one of the first' (kinda, it's a slippery subject).

Well 90% of my new progress has just been setting up weapon/projectile files and getting them working in my mod folder so you only need to download the mod and not have to change any of your vanilla supcom data to play.
That and it will alow me to pump out Bps for units very fast when I get to that point...

I have also gotten a fair few units ingame with placeholder weapons, however they have no textures and the weapons look nothing like I hope to have them, so not much that is ready to show or talk to anyone about there.

The infantry stuff is basicaly going to be what we can get awaywith rather than what we want to do, we first have to see what we can do with the engine and THEN talk about how we want the infantry to work based off of those limitations...

Anyway thanks for the feedback, your right we should try to involve the comunity in this some more, however I think that we should wait a bit rather than showing some stuff and dissapearing again for a week or more..

for a week or so after the 20th I will have lots more free time, at that point im going to make a push for getting almost, if not all of the T1 stuff for the ImperialGuard done (minus textures and weapon art), at that point I will start updating the threads with new information...

However for the moment I have too much stuff to do to make any real progress with this mod...
OrangeKnight has a fair few models he might want to show off, maybe an ingame shot or two, but thats upto him basicaly.

So yeah, look out for some big updates after the 20th smile.gif

Unless somthing fantastic happens between now and then, dont expect any updates tongue.gif

Wait, so its always been okay with you guys if I show pics of things? Cause I mean, I got quite a few(dozen) different things I could show, among other things.

I mean, at this point ingame shots, regardless of how units look, could be the kind of thing we need to get people talking again. And the Land Speeder doesn't look half bad either...

I'll start putting some stuff together...

Well it's done, hopefully well get some replies over at GPG.

I'll do my best to try and have something new weekly, hopefully Seagoon can be around enough to coordinate our efforts on the infantry so we can show those off next.
