why was this particular character chosen to be make into more than a one off?
what did he have that others didn't?

did we need another 'normal' character? i use the 'normal' in terms of we have witches, death etc and vimes is the more 'normal' real life of characters. so did we need another, and another who lives in AM?

could moist not have been a one off who would turn up now and then like william de worde?

pratchett just liked him. Logistically he sucks but when something's got aholt of your mind...

i dont blame TP for writing another moist book, he clearly enjoyed the first and thought he'd enjoy writing another. i really liked moist, and we've had so mainy book from the watch it's nice too see the disc from the prespective of a criminal mind

I like Moist, as i suggested before, i think he is going to be the one who takes over from Havelock

I like the Moist books because I really like Vetinairi and I love the hold he has on him and the trouble he makes for him :)

If Moists in you know Vetinairi is going to be in it.

Plus he's a bit different and variety is the spice of life isn't it.

Oh I totally love Moist! (funniest name ever)
He is a con man, and thinks he can manipulate every situation, but really he ends up being manipulated by events (and people) beyond his control.(rain)

But he does manage to make a difference, he makes things better for pretty much everyone...
he ends up being a very positive for change. I've felt that both Going Postal and Making Money were really strong books with so much depth, satire, and out and out hilarity....

He is really one of my favorite characters and I really hope he is well cast (I'm looking forward to the movie)

i mean they will have to cast carefully as moist is always described as being 'plain' as he can blend in.

so the actor cant look too special or interesting.

I think with him being plain and can blend in and not noticable it should be a newbie.

Not someone well known whose face we already know as your not suppose to know/remember or recognise Moist are you.
