K so I've asked this to people before, and still, I seek answers.
K, so the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time. Why is it hard? Like, really, I find it to be the easiest temple in the game, no questions asked. It's so incredibly short and there aren't really multiple keys to find - they pretty much come in order. The Boss is pathetically easy and dies so quick. None of the puzzles are hard.
Yet most people say is a very difficult temple. I don't get it
I've only ever heard SGR say that. If it's any temple in OOT renowned for its difficulty, its water.
Ugh, I haven't played Ocarina of Time in forever so my memories of the game are vague, but from what I remember of the temples.
Shadow had some sort of look where all the rooms looked similar so you could get lost easily and it happened to me all the time. I recall one area where these rooms all had these faces one the wall and you could walk through one of them, and there was a tomb and key or something, but tons of rooms had this face so I couldn't find which face I went through to walk in and eventually got lost in the whole temple.
I also recall there being platforms that were invisible and invisible enemies and these always gave me trouble cause I wanted to save as much magic as possible so when I was on the platform or hit an enemy and knew where they were I'd stop using it and try to go through a bit without it, and this created some problems.
Worst of all, when this happened I'd have to start over with less magic. I recall one time I think I actually ran out of magic and had to exit the whole temple and get more cause I kept using the lens, which was pretty frustrating.
I always say it's the hardest temple in OoT cause I never ran out of magic or had to exit and re enter the temple in any of them but Shadow and shadow is also the one that I got the most lost in, but yah, there you go.
Well I know Water > All in difficulty, but many still think Shadow is hard.
Even with the invisible platforms and stuff, the Lens of Truth makes them useless 'cause you can see them
