Well following an email from a new member, I have decided it would be a good idea to have a FAQ, even though to some of you, using a forum is second nature. But to the newbie it can be a bit daunting.

First off newbie!

Thank you for joining our forum. Yes it can be a bit confusing starting a new forum. Luckily our staff are friendly and helpful and are here to help ;)

Well you've done the first part: Get registered; so I guess you need help to start off?

Q: Do I need to be logged in to post?

A:
You can post while not logged in, but it won't add to your post count (total amount of posts you have made) and it won't show your Avatar (picture under your name). You can still enter a name, but it's much better to log in.

Log in by clicking [Log In] near the top of the page and enter your

username: bob (or whatever you have chosen)
password: whatever you have chosen

We do not know your password, but can delete your password and change it to another if you forget it. Email us if this happens and either me (Lemming) or PhantomLord will sort it out.

When you are logged in you can now post and change settings in your own personal profile. Most of it is self explanatory but don't hesitate to add a post to the this FAQ page.

Q: How do I add a topic and post replies?

A:
Before you post anything we would like you to read our rules and regulations which you can find over here: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Disposable_Hero...?act=boardrules

After that you should start posting. Well posting is the same as answering in a conversation. You can create a Topic by clicking on whichever forum you want to start a topic in and click the [New Topic] button.

If you like other games and subjects, (as most people do) that do not have their own forum section in my forum. Well you can still talk about them, but make your threads/topics about them in the Rants and Rave section: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Disposable_Hero...php?showforum=6

Then you add a title to the top of your topic so that people know what it is about. You can, if you want to, add another little line of text underneath so that you can explain it a bit more. Please remember that a title should not be: PLEASE HELP! Or OMG hAL0 2 is t3h suX0rZ!!!!11111, just a warning :)

Now add whatever you want to the topic body, and stick to the rules while you are doing so.

When replying to a thread (topic), use the [Reply] button at the top or bottom of each thread page. Then you can add you opinion of whatever is being discussed there. Stick to the rules when doing so.

Any further questions can be asked to underneath and they will be added to the top here.

I would like to thank you again for joining us and hope you stick around to enjoy our future mods.

Regards
Jamie 'Lemming' Douglas

And if any of you has questions on how to use any particular household utility, then come to me! For I am DoomGuy, and all I need to get things working is a mere press of the space bar.

DISCLAMER: THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR WASHING MACHINES.

Well, for now I'm only able to view thread-posts & -replies, I can't see where the reply-button/link is. I look at the top and the bottom of the page, but still cannot see it. Where is it?

(BTW: I wanted to post in the Introduction Thread, to introduce myself, but since I can't find the reply-buttons/links, I'm unable to do it.

(This was the text I wanted to post-reply:)
