Other Registration
This sign up is for teachers and other people in the wizarding world who are NOT students. That means, ministry members, the older Weasleys, death eaters, etc. Try not to make too many death eaters or ministry members. Also not students can NOT be ministry or Order members or death eaters. Thank you.

Slytherin Common Room
The long, low room that is located in the maze of hallways that is the dungeons is the Slytherin Common Room. It's like all the other house common rooms with the huge fireplace with the elaborately-carved mantle, the tables, and the round lamps for light.

Hufflepuff Common Room
The Hufflepuff common room is like all the other common rooms. With arm chairs and tables to do homework on, it's where Hufflepuff students spend quite a bit of their time. It's located in the basement of the school near the kitchens which makes it very easy to get a midnight snack. Yum.

Gryffindor Tower
A hole in the wall hidden by the portrait of the fat lady in the pink dress is the entrance to Gryffindor Tower, the location of Gryffindor Common Room. The tower houses the common room and dorms for all Gryffindor students. With a large fireplace, a number of tables and chairs, it's a place where students spend a lot of their time.

Ravenclaw Tower
Like Gryffindor, Ravenclaw has it's own tower. The dorms and common rooms are located her behind an entrance only known to Ravenclaw students. With the fireplace and chairs it's a comfortable place where the students spend a lot of their time.

Hagrid's Hut
Hagrid's hut was once a small one room cabin at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Now it's a small pile of ash and burnt wood since the battle with the Death Eaters when it was hit by an Incendio spell. No one's in much of a rush to repair the damage and there aren't many planes to rebuild it.

Lawns
The spacious lawns were once a great place to take a stroll or a place to lounge but now the Hogwarts students are barely allowed on them except for to walk to the green houses for lessons or for other classes.

Green Houses
The greenhouses behind the school house all of the plants uses for potions and medicines in the hospital wing and also are where all of the herbology lessons are taught.

Forbidden Forest
Lying east of the castle is the Forbidden Forest. As it names states, the forest is forbidden to all Hogwarts students. At one time there was once exceptions were made for detentions and care of magical creatures lesson, but now with the Dark Lord back and all, the rules are enforced more then ever.

The Lake
The first encounter most students have with the lake is when they are escorted across it when they first arrive at Hogwarts. But the lake plays other important roles at Hogwarts if you consider taking a dip on a lazy June day important that is. The lake lies south of Hogwarts while Hogwarts looms over the lake on a steep cliff.

Quidditch Pitch
Across the lawn and past the lake lies the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch. The 500 by 180 feet oval field with fifty foot tall poles with hoops on the ends are on opposite sides of the field. With tiered seating for the students, it's where all of the school Quidditch matches take place of course.

Hogsmeade
The only village in Britain that is inhabited by only wizards and witches, Hogsmeade was built over a thousand years ago in the shadow of the the mountain which later Hogwarts was built on, to hide the village from muggles. Now the village attracts witches and wizards from all over the country and world.

Diagon Alley
The twisting street of cobbled stone in the center of London is the main shopping center of the wizarding world, in Britain at least. Whether you get there by foot through the entrance in the Leaky Cauldron or you arrive by floo powder or apparation, Diagon Alley is the place to be if you need to find a hard to find magical item.

Ministry of Magic
The ministry is located underneath the streets of London, of course to be hidden from the muggles. To get to the ministry you can either apparate or use the floo network but if you're going by foot or need to enter from above ground, you need to head to the shabby phone booth. Hold the receiver above your head, dial 6 2 4 4 2 and you're in.

Platform Nine and Three Quarters
Platform Nine and Three Quarters is where all Hogwarts students need to be on the first day of term. The Hogwarts Express is the only train that takes students to school and departs at exactly eleven AM. Just find the platform in Kings Cross and you'll be in the gold.

Azkaban
Azkaban Fortress, located on an island out at sea was until last June guarded by the soul sucking creatures. But once it became aware that the dementors were going to side with the Dark Lord, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement instead sent ministry members and other aurors to guard the prison instead.
