The webpage contest is looking like it might not happen. I'll still be updating the site as you roleplay to make it spiffy!

It’s not like he was the first one to think about living forever, and it wasn’t like he was the first to go searching for eternal life either. He was one of the many that wanted to live forever. Here he was though, on his first step to his dream. If only he could remember if he said good by to his family. Especially, oh dear, what was her name?

Not long ago, actually, about a week ago Silence had woken up and decided to search for eternity. Only problem was he had no past memory about anything. No faces come to mind, no names, nothing but his own name and destination. Where he woke up seemed familiar but he had no memory of how he got there. Silence knew that it was mid summer, he knew his name, he knew that he had to find a pack soon or he would probably not make it in the fall.

For this past 2 weeks he had been feasting on rabbit and fish. Silently, thinking to himself, as he often did. Today he had been following up stream for quite sometime, bored out of his mind. He looked long and hard for signs and scents of another pack or even another wolf maybe. Anything to make this boredom go away. But what good would it do to have another companion? It’s not like he could strike a conversation. He rolled his eyes at this thought.

Stopping for about the hundredth time he sniffed the air for a scent. For a moment there was one, making his ears perk up and eyes light up, but when he sniffed again to make sure, it was gone. With a sigh his whole body seemed to flop down and sulk. This whole traveling thing was irritating. Feeble minded he turned himself to the stream next to him. He let his eyes grasp every tree branch behind him. Let his eyes wonder to every moving thing in the sky. Until he averted them to his features.

Traveling had made him skinnier somehow he could see it in his face. The outline of his jewel still lingered on his ear and that black spot in his eye still annoyed him. Even though he was born with it. Wait, what’s that? He leaned a bit closer squinting to see better. He couldn’t see it clearly enough but when he blinked the smudge was still there. He lifted his paw up and rubbed it a bit and it still didn’t come of. Something was there, something like a number in his left ear.

Stopping in his tracks he quickly let down his paw and looked around. There it was, that scent again. Someone was here and if he focused on his hearing he could hear him moving slightly but because of all these trees and birds and insects he didn’t know where it was coming from. If only he could talk…
