All Welcome

Here in my homeland.....
Sandy coloured lids were shut on pallid green eyes, darkening the world and masking figures and landscape. The breeze wound it's way across grass, flatening the tendrils and carrying familliar scents to filtered through Sahara's nose. Bliss settled over her aura, wroughting the ability to feel frustration or self pity at her lonership. She was part of a pack. Kamator. Still, none of the members had ever seemed to cross her path. She deemed the area too big to hold the few members she had heard of. Drawing in the cool breath she held it locked in her lungs for a few moments, letting the sensation wash over her. Pushing it back out into the world she parted her eye-lids, slowly drawing them open so they diluted in the clouded sun.

Warmth bathed her sandy hued pelt, causing it to shine brightly unlike the soft honey colour it really was, highlighting the white that adorned her pelt. It was her pelt that had decided much of her path for her, had deemed the pack she would reside in, the land she would come to know. Another gust of wind buffeted her fur and laid it flat against her tough frame. Shutting her eyes against the world once more she just felt the pressing power that pushed into her, whistling past her white leathery wings and winding round her bodice. No words could describe how she felt right now so she held her speech, no images pushing past the clarity of her mind. Gazing out again she stared wistfully past rocks, eyes directed downwards. Below water sifted through the deeply gourged landscape snaking it's way towards its destination. To sea or lake she did not know, or care to find out. For that simple mystery entwined itself into the overall beauty of such an energetic movement.

Sahara was poised delicately upon the edge of such a cut in the earth, silver necklace that held the topaz precariously danging from her neck over the vast unoccupied space. Yet no fear pierced her heart, for she reminded herself of her scarecely used white bat wings that shrouded her back folded neatly in against her sides. How she longed for another figure to step out from behind her, to complete this silent bliss until her heart burst. She had scoured lands searching until meeting only one who greeted her with cautious withdrawn scorn. Shruging she shifted images to memories of lands she had flown over, forests she had meadered through. Her eyes spark faded slihgtly until they now beheld a clear distance.

OOC: Since I have nothing better to do.

His body sliced through the air as he ran through the forest. The forest just before the cliff. The maroon wolven was preparing to launch out to fly. His blended brown and maroon tinted feathery wings slightly held away from his body, once the trees cleared, he'd jump up and fly away. Kurogane, this male was called. Sharp eyes located where he was. And once he passed all the trees, his wings spread all the way, and he started to run harder.

Wings flapping lightly, his body would raise only a few inches from the ground. And he smiled as he came closer and closer to the cliffs. One thing though... There was a winged femme in his way. Oh well. His takeoff would have to be sooner than he excepted. His two tails whipping against anything that was in his way, that long tiger's tail helped push the male off the ground, by it slamming against the ground as he jumped, and his wings flapped. He had gotten up before he had run into the femme. " Femme. Stay out of the way next time." he spoke as he circled around and back towards the femme. His audits pulled slightly back, and his two tails flicking against each other.

" The name's Kurogane. I am a controller of Fire." he spoke and blew out a small flame from his mouth, as his earring glew a crimson color for only a split second. Those wings doing their best, flapping every few seconds to keep the male's body from falling. The tiger striped male looked at the femme with dissatisfaction. Kindof like he was looking for something more. Kurogane expected this femme to be the colors of the Red, Orange, or yellow, and yet, not one inch of her was red, orange, or yellow...

Ugh, she is a sandy yellow with a white tinted tail. Sorry for her pic, i can't re-color and the person i've set to making one hasn't yet XP
Sorry for the confusion.

IC;;
Sahara's left ear twizzled backwards quickly as another set of paws thrummed the earth right behind her. The creature was gaining speed, and..... they weren't swerving out the way of her. Oh well, she was ready for when they collided. Muscles in her white leatherey bat wings bunching, she refused to turn her head, standing firm against her curiosity. To her surprise, another gust of wind whistled through her sandy pelt, a shadow briefly passing over her. The other creature had taken off. Another one with wings.

As he circled she noted his maroon and brown shadings, which would have obviously placed him in Kamator. Her heart lurched involuntarily at the site of a fellow pack member, though his voice reached her before she smiled. Checking herself appropriately the words registered. Narrowing her lids briefly over her green eyes she reminded herself it would be no good acting hostile towards another who belonged to the same pack. swallowing cries of irritation she let go of anger and ran her gaze over his body in an interested fashion. Tilting her head slightly she removed her eyes and returned to her former serenity. Drawing in a soothing breath she instead spoke with an obviously strained pleasant tone. "Well maybe next time you could make a point of either letting me know you're there or loping around me." Her feminine voice was quick to point out. Socialisation had produced itself to her, though in the form of what she took to be a boisterous male.

Calmly spreading her wings she tilted tem against the breeze to catch the air, then folded them once more against her sides. Green gaze dancing about the landscape she deliberately avoided his frame or eyes as once more she gazed down the chasm of the earth to trace the rivers line.

OOC: Oh, haha..

Kurogane looked at her as he saw that her rage rose. This was what Kurogane lived for. Making other pissed off. He enjoyed the fact that others were so arrogent that they would get mad at. He liked to get under the other's skin and see what angers them the most, what maked them happy, sad. What makes them crumble. What makes him want to stick around them. Do you own something that Kurogane wants? Maybe. He'd have to find out. His yellow and his aqua eyes fixed on her. A smile place on his thin lips. " I did not know you were there until the trees thinned out, and looping around wasn't too much of a choice. There's not too much to land to loop around you to." he spoke and cocked his brow.

He smiled as he flew closer to the femme, and landed on the edge of the cliff, and his tiger-like tail wrapped around him, and went to he chin. His tail pushed against he chin, trying to get her to look at him. He wanted to be the center of attention, not no cliff, or the water below the cliff. He chuckled and that same smile placed on his lips. " Now..Femme, You know my name, but I do not know your own. May I ask your dubbence?" he asked with a light chuckle. The fire weilder was a firey spirit indeed. His eyes seemed to burn with a thousand fires in the forest, determination always seeming to get the best of himself.

" This one of red, you are of yellow, welcome to Kamator my friend." he spoke with a chuckle and a slightly wag of his second and more wolf-like tail.

Sahara succombed to his tail, fervently twisting her head around to meet his gaze squarely, letting her eyes twinkle with mystery and mock innocence. Dipping her head slightly in acknowledgement she made a point of not lowering it too much so she appeared weak. "Welcome yourself." Vocals mainly nonchalant she spoke with a polite quality embroidered in, though nothing more, so far. Swooping her tail around to the side she gently pushed away his tiger tail with her own, letting it fall back behind her once completed. There it hung comfortably. Neither proud of submissive.

"I go by the name Sahara, and the earth answers to my wishes." Just as he had proved his power she turned her head almost mechanically towards the cliffs edge and silently let a few chunks of rock and dirt crumble away, the pieces plummeting o the river below, so far down that not even a splash was audible. For those few moments the topaz that was inset into her silver necklace shone with an unearthy brightness until the rocks had fallen. "Sahara Vogue that is." It would not be dangerous letting slip her last name. Besides, the remains of her family were either dead or had dispersed across the land, she hadn't really bothered keeping in touch. Sighing inwardly she turned away from the cliff towards the thin part of the forest. Paws automatically leading her forwards they adopted a leisurely pace, as she had no need to go anywhere, and would simply absently roam the terra, as she usually did. Yet she yearned company, her heart setting off a great pang as she began to pad away from him that it made her hessitate. Then with a clear air of having made a descision she paused and twisted her head back. "You can walk with me if you want." A statement that would not be humilliating if he rejected, as it was simply a suggestion.
