Title: Oio naa elealla alasse
Description: Skyfire

Finn Mulligan - May 18, 2011 03:07 AM (GMT)
Finn carried Skyfire over his shoulder, while in gargoyle form. Walking on two legs was too difficult in this form, he couldn’t do it for very long at all. Perhaps a gargoyle that was shaped more like an imp or a devil could have done it but Finn was shaped like a panther, meant to slink in and out of places. He muttered a curse and just shifted into his human form. His skin went from a dark grey almost black to a pale color tanned a bit by the sun and weather. It was night time so there were no people wandering the halls of the Watch Tower, but no doubt the security crew was getting a hell of a view as Finn walked down the hallway buck naked carrying the red haired elf over his shoulder.

Of course he probably would have thought about this more if he had realized that now he had exposed his neck to Skyfire, but honestly if she wanted his blood all she had to do was ask and he would slice open a vein for her. He opened the door to one of the empty dorm rooms, setting Skyfire down on the rather Spartan bunk.

”When have you eaten last and I damn well don’t mean food?” Finn asked his friend, looking stern in the eyes but completely forgetting that lecturing Skyfire while he was as naked as Adam in the garden was perhaps more of a hilarious sight.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - May 18, 2011 03:20 AM (GMT)
Skyfire had protested at first when Finn had tossed her over his shoulder, but she'd also been thankful that he had done it. She should have known better then to go to the cafe without having fed first and the scent of Sophia and the sound of her heart beating had almost been too much for the elf. If not for Finn she might have tried to attack the girl, but her dear friend had gotten her out of the situation.

She had to admit that seeing the hallways of the Watchtower while dangling upside down over the tall gargoyle's back was an interesting sight. Then she was set on the bunk and she blinked up at Finn almost absently, her normally emerald green eyes a bright flickering red as she struggled for a moment with the flame in her mind. It was getting harder to hold it at bay since she used it in the hours she was awake and around others so that her skin would be warm to the touch instead of icy cold.

But, it was only Finn and herself in the empty room and she allowed the heat from her skin to fade and her eyes slowly returned to their normal green as she looked up to her friend, certainly admiring the view as the man lectured her. She sighed softly and circled her fingertips against her temples as she frowned faintly, trying to remember. "I think it was day before yesterday."

Finn Mulligan - May 18, 2011 03:42 AM (GMT)
"Bloody hell pocketelf. You're going to get yourself killed if you do that, or worse someone else. Hold on," Finn said and he typed some orders into the computer terminal. He nodded with satisfaction and then went around the room pulling every flamable thing off the wall.

"Warm wool blanket, there...fire resistant. I know you take a lot of time and energy trying to control the flame. First things first, we get you feed. Then we get you a room where you don't have to keep control," Finn said with a nod. He still had yet to realize really that he was naked and he should be worrying about getting dressed.

Probably because it was Skyfire was the reason he had forgotten to put on clothes. The two were so comfortable with one another that Finn was just right as rain in his natural state.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - May 18, 2011 03:50 AM (GMT)
Skyfire sat on the edge of the bunk and leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on her knees and cupping her chin in her hands as she watched Finn move around the room. "I know, Finn, I know. But there are so many other more important things to worry about and it slips my mind," she murmured tiredly. She tilted her head slightly and her feathered earring brushed against her jaw as she did.

"If the flame takes control I won't be myself," she said softly even though she knew that Finn already knew that. She closed her eyes and nodded slightly as he spoke, doing her best to ignore the fact that she could all but hear his blood flowing through his veins and that the sound of his heart beat was like a large drum being played right beside her ear.

She licked her lips absently and looked back up to Finn, a soft smile touching her lips. "I have to say that as far as lectures go, I like the view of this one best," she said in a soft, playful tone.

Finn Mulligan - May 18, 2011 04:20 AM (GMT)
Finn sighed, rubbing his face with his hand. He of course knew that SKyfire had to maintain control. He shook his head, trying to explain he just knew she had to expend less effort at times otherwise she would completely drain the energy she had.

“I just worry that the extra control you are exerting is going to exacerbate your condition and Iknow you haven’t told River yet so don’t even try and say you did,”[/b] Finn said as he opened the door for the Authority medical tech who brought the cart around. The poor girl blinked as Finn reached out and the took the blood bags from her and the IV.

”What you blabbering on about and what is the girl’s prob…oh I’m not wearing anything and it’s all hanging out isn’t it? Right well, might as well let you enjoy the view while we get you something to eat,” Finn said and pulled out a mug to pour the blood into and offered it to Skyfire.

”That is human blood, kept for medical emergencies and I dare say this qualifies. If you’re good, I’ll take my time finding pants.” He nodded and smiled.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - May 18, 2011 04:31 AM (GMT)
Pinching the bridge of her nose, Skyfire sighed softly and nodded. "I need to take breaks from it, I know. And, I love how you already know that I haven't told River yet. Mm, you'll probably be able to tell when I do," she said as she straightened up, glancing at the door when Finn opened it, a soft laugh slipping past her lips at the look on the poor girl's face. She knew that when she finally did tell River, it was going to be interesting and the fact that the vampire had gotten her to pledge herself to him was only going to make things more difficult.

She curled her fingers tightly in the blanket as soon as she smelled the blood, her lips parting slightly as it was all she could do to make herself sit there instead of jumping up to snatch the mug from the gargoyle's hands. She took the mug when he offered it with trembling hands and she laughed softly. "Wasn't it usually my line to say that if you were good I wouldn't make you wear pants?" she asked teasingly.

Looking at the liquid in the cup she hesitated because she had only had pigs blood to drink up to this point and she just hoped that drink human blood this one time wouldn't make her more dangerous around humans. She closed her eyes and brought the cup to her lips, drinking the liquid inside, forcing herself to do so slowly even though she wanted to do nothing more then to gulp it down greedily.

Finn Mulligan - May 18, 2011 04:54 AM (GMT)
"It can't be just a bit of forgetfulness on your part that you would sometimes wiat a few minutes to remind me to put on clothing," Finn said, tucking a pillow case around his waist in the worst attempt at a loin cloth ever.

"Couldn't be that you just rather enjoyed seeing all the bits and parts. Can't asay I blame you," Finn said and he soothingly petted Skyfire's hair.

"Just drink. We get regular human blood supplies replenished in case of medical emergency. Now if you crave it you can come back and eat," Finn said comfortingly.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - May 18, 2011 05:01 AM (GMT)
"Of course I like the view. I mean, I'd have to be blind not to," Skyfire chuckled softly, leaning into his touch on her hair. She remained quiet for a few moments as she finished the liquid in the cup, making sure not to spill any on herself or to get any on her mouth.

"I need to get a supply of blood from the butcher here until I figure out how to get rid of this affliction. I can't drink the blood that's needed for emergencies. It wouldn't do for me to be the reason someone died because we didn't have enough of a certain blood type," she said with a shake of her head as she leaned lightly against Finn.

Finn Mulligan - May 18, 2011 05:16 AM (GMT)
"We have plenty,I doubt something small like you drinks much," Finn said with a sigh as he looked to the elf. She had been the first to find him, the first to speak words to him that he understood. She was his nurse when he was sick.

"We'll figure out a way through this Skyfire, I promise you. I don't care what part of this world, Earth that Was, or some flickery fairy realm we got to go to," Finn said trying to be comforting.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - May 18, 2011 05:39 AM (GMT)
"Flickery fairy realm," Skyfire repeated with a soft laugh, shaking her head. She was beginning to feel a bit better after a cup full of blood, but she still felt a little weak. The weakness was mostly from fighting the flame back, but she still craved more of the crimson liquid that she had just drank.

She licked her lips absently and glanced up to Finn. "I know we will, but really, Apex should be at the top of the list."

Tatyana Snow - May 18, 2011 06:24 AM (GMT)
The Authority was more of a family to Tatyana than she could admit. She didn't even understand what a family was it had been so long since she had something somewhat close to one, but all she knew was that she cared for her teammates beyond simply the willingness to kill for them. But with Tatyana, that was never saying much. She would spill her own blood for them--a dramatic saying but nevertheless true and relevant given Skyfire's situation.

Her forearm wrapped tight, she held a container of blood in her hands and barely bothered to knock before entering. Usually she had better manners, but when it came to important things Tatyana rarely bothered with formalities. She raised her eyebrows at seeing Finn in nearly all his glory and clearly debated about returning another time.

She walked over to Skyfire and held it out to her. "If we're going to fight Apex we're all gonna need to be at full strength," Tatyana said.

Finn Mulligan - May 18, 2011 05:19 PM (GMT)
Finn eyes lit up as Tatyana came in the room holding her a cup of her own blood. There was something rather sacred about the act, something as old as time. Was not Christ offering the wine as his blood much the same sort of act? There were of course other religions, other mystery cults which offered blood in ritual. It was not always the terrible thing of demonic ritual and dark magic.

"Tatyana, I take back most everything I've ever said about you - except the good stuff that can stay. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother" Finn said with a grin, randomly quoting Shakespeare in the middle of his admiring the generosity of the woman who sometimes Finn worried was lost to the instincts of the warrior.

"Why are you looking at me...oh bother the whole nudity thing. Elves are far more sensible about this than humans are you know," Finn said and he shifted to his gargoyle form, the warm hide nearly as tough as stone.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - May 18, 2011 06:09 PM (GMT)
Skyfire blinked as Tatyana came into the room and her lips parted slightly as she caught the scent of what was in the cup that the woman held out to her. She glanced at the bandaging on Tatyana's arm before looking at the cup she held out to her. She licked her lips absently and stared at the cup silently for several moments, listening to Tatyana and Finn speak. Several arguments went through her mind as to why she shouldn't take the cup, but she knew they would fall on deaf ears and earn her a sassy look from Tatyana.

She sighed and reached out to take the cup. "Thank you," she said as she bowed her head politely before drinking the liquid in the cup. She glanced to Finn when he changed to his gargoyle form, chuckling softly.

"Of course we are," she said with a soft laugh as she glanced back to Tatyana. "I know that we all need to be at full strength."

Tatyana Snow - May 18, 2011 06:59 PM (GMT)
Tatyana raised her eyebrows at Finn. "What did you say?" She asked almost accusingly, with the exception of the teasing smile that broke through her stoic demeanor. She allowed her stoicism to melt away for the moment as Skyfire accepted the blood, a warm smile crossing her face as she watched Skyfire drink it. It was the same look that occasionally settled on her face when she was caring for Talia, a look often hidden behind closed doors and overall annoyance with the sin eater that somehow Tatyana of all people avoided.

"Mmmmmmhm. Still don't need to see any of that," Tatyana said, deciding not to reflect upon how the majority of her times seeing anyone that exposed hadn't ended well for them.

"So when you get thirsty, you come to me until we figure out how to fix this," Tatyana all but ordered with the exception of the gentle cadence to her voice.

Finn Mulligan - June 1, 2011 03:03 AM (GMT)
Finn was about to say something rather dirty to Tatyana, but then he remembered that she could probably pull out his spleen through his nose and then tie a nuclear detonator to his tail and kick him off towards the sun.

"Sorry Tatyana, I'll keep the boys covered. Now see Skyfire, we all love you and dare I get squishy on you, we all want to see you safe and cared for and find who did this to you and painfully turn them into a little pile of mush," the gargoyle said with a nod, letting Skyfire lean against him and wrapping his tail gently around her waist.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - June 1, 2011 07:32 PM (GMT)
Skyfire was discovering the problem with drinking human blood was that she felt a sudden urge of blood lust, the desire to consume more blood. The thirst was always there and it was hard to ignore it sometimes, the pig blood that she normally had took the edge off enough that she could function. She looked at the empty cup in her hand as she leaned back against Finn, absently petting his tail around her waist with her other hand.

She glanced up to Tatyana and nodded when the woman said to come to her when she needed to feed. "Alright," she said softly, almost listlessly. Sky glanced to Finn as he spoke and shook her head slightly. "That's where it gets complicated, Finn," she said with a sigh, curling against the gargoyle as she rested her head against his shoulder. "He got me to pledge myself to him," she admitted quietly, closing her eyes. The vampire had been thorough in turning her, covering important details like that. She knew that her friends cared for her and she was more thankful to them for that then she had the words to describe.

Tatyana Snow - June 7, 2011 05:59 PM (GMT)
Tatyana nodded her head, unfortunately oblivious of how highly Finn thought of her else her day might very well have been made. She took a seat and smiled softly, her expression shockingly warm for the single word that escaped her lip in agreement with Finn, "Slowly."

Tatyana frowned softly, suppressing an only slightly glib comment about how this guy was sounded like one of her ex-boyfriends (and giving Finn a 'this-is-why-I-don't-do-relationships' look of sass). She looked over to Finn, an instant of worry clear on her face, and leaned back in her seat. "Shit. No offense to you, Skyfire, and no blame either, just..." She sighed and patted down her hair.

Finn Mulligan - June 11, 2011 01:56 AM (GMT)
”Shit is right. Skyfire, why did you do something like that? Do you know that means he can ask anything of you, that you are beholden to him?” Finn said with a stern gaze that only softened when he saw the look on his friend’s face. He sighed and looked to Tatyana, his look conveying just how dismayed he was.

”Well, we can still arrest him,” Finn said finally, giving a nod. ”He’s commited a crime and he should be incarcerated. You don’t have to be on that mission Skyfire, so that way they don’t have to break any pledges.”

He looked to Tatyana as if to check if his idea was solid or not.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - June 17, 2011 08:26 PM (GMT)
Skyfire opened her eyes when the two of them swore and she sighed softly, shaking her head. "The man was smart enough to use one of my weaknesses against me," she murmured, resting her head against Finn's shoulder and closing her eyes again. She listened to them speak and nodded, offering Tatyana a faint smile in thanks for not blaming her, she knew that the situation was a difficult one.

"I need to speak with River and see what he wants to do about this," she said as she opened her eyes once more. She lifted her head from Finn's shoulder, but she remained leaning lightly against the gargoyle.

Tatyana Snow - June 20, 2011 11:02 PM (GMT)
Tatyana tilted her head back, shutting her eyes for a moment. It had been awhile since anything hit close to home, if ever. She had been disconnected from others for so long due to her jobs, the agencies she work with requiring disconnection, all of them clandestine. Had she still been in any of those agencies putting a case together to take down whoever did it and getting it approved would've taken a week at the most, and by two week Tatyana could've had his head on a platter. Unfortunately, the Authority didn't work by such...expedient means.

She straightened up and gave Skyfire a small smile. "We'll all handle it," she said with a nod. Looking at Finn and Skyfire, she rose from her seat. It was clear the elf was exhausted and Tatyana had no other purpose being here. "I'll let you rest. If you need anything..." She walked to the door, hesitating a moment in the doorway to give Finn and Skyfire a final--was that worry crossing her stoic face?--glance and then would slip out.

Finn Mulligan - June 28, 2011 02:31 AM (GMT)
Finn nodded a gesture of respect to Tatyana, happy she made her way in. It was entirely unexpected and yet, something that reminded Finn he didn't know as much about humans as he thought he did.

"You going to be alright tonight or would you like a gargoyle watchdog at the foot of your bed? Or in your bed, either or," Finn said, the offer serious because he wanted to comfort his dear friend and neither of them really had the same sense of propriety that humans did when it came to close physical contact.

Skyfire Caoilfhionn - July 2, 2011 04:41 AM (GMT)
Skyfire bowed her head slightly to Tatyana when the woman left before she glanced back to Finn, resting her head against his shoulder again. She smiled softly at his offer and she closed her eyes, content to curl against her dear friend. "I would really appreciate a gargoyle watchdog in my bed," she murmured softly, knowing that Finn knew that she saw him as much more then just a gargoyle. She saw him as a dear friend that she would do anything for and she knew that he would do the same for her.
