General Appearance: Rowan was always a handsome boy, but in his slightly old age he's become a striking figure. Brown-eyed and black-haired, whatever good looks he'd have inherited from his father were scarred during his time as a wolf. Rowan's eyes are a brown/hazel mix. His hair has capturded a few greys (a natural Quirinus gene). Growing has taken away the color in his hair but as long as he has his curse as a wolf, it will never deplete him completely.
Rowan is still an imposing figure. He may appear an average man, but he gives off an air of confidence and authority that stands out. Rowan may wear a dark brown pinstripe suit, a shirt and (usually) a tie, a light brown overcoat (which he claims was given to him by a famous Auror), and a pair of black or cream-coloured Converse All Stars. He may also sport a blue pinstripe version of his pinstripe suit and a pair of maroon Converse All Stars. If he has to dress up for a formal event, he'll put on a suit but rock a pair of Converse instead of Dress Shoes.
Personality: The only thing that could change his loyalty and respect, once it has been earned, is betrayal. Betrayal will never be forgotten and most likely not forgiven. Rowan's rough exterior is as much to protect himself as it is to protect others from him. Underneath it all, he has a good heart and cares...perhaps too much.
Rowan has a light-hearted, easy-going, witty and somewhat cheeky manner, yet with a strong personal sense of justice that makes him quick to anger when he feels it is violated. He sometimes uses a cheerful façade to mask inner emotions. Rowan has a tendency to babble, mixing apparent nonsense with vital information, sometimes acting erratically to put his enemies off guard. He can also be rude on occasion, and is not always aware of it. He has a tendency to use technobabble to describe scientific concepts before substituting it with a simpler, analogous explanation. Rowan is also able to rapidly switch between moods, from mania to anger to nonchalance.
He used this as a form of reverse psychology. By switching gears suddenly when confronted, he made the other person disconcerted enough to allow Rowan his own way. Rowan is the kind of person who may sometimes keep to himself. Courage is not only good aspect of his but it may lead to his downfall one day.
Rowan is a very courageous person but he may rush into danger in a blind courage and not see the consequences that lay before him. When rushing in to danger, he uses some of the wit and intelligence he has but not all, which leads to him getting into trouble he didn't need in the first place.

History: Rowan Hunter Quirinus was born to Gabriel Quirinus, a Englishmen of Indian and African descent and Rachael Ariana Quirinus, an American of Latin Descent on December 24 in London, England. Rowan was treated as a prince during his childhood. Anything he wanted, he was able to get. Usually, this would make children spoiled but Rowan was never spoiled, when he got older, he didn't always ask for stuff. He never carried himself as a spoiled brat. Rowan was the type of child who just went with the flow.
As a child, Rowan attended private school, at the request of his wealthy father. Rowan was hasseled alot in school because of the fact that he was rich. But it would all change. It wasn't long before his 11th birthday came.
This birthday became his ticket to the famous Hogwarts School of Witxhcraft and Wizardry.
Rowan was pulled from his Private School and sent to Hogwarts. to school for the next seven years. When Rowan first got to Hogwarts, not that many people like him but after awhile, Rowan gained many friends. Rowan's life changed when he was 15. Rowan had watched his mother die at the hands of a Dark Wizard and their followers. This wasn't the only thing effected in his life during the experience.
While watching the the event unfold, a follower, in a Purple & Silver robe had realized he was there and pursuited him through the mansion. Rowan was chased through manor, screaming for help. The only problem was.... there was no one but him and his pursuer and the manor was secluded from the city. He entered the kitchen and try to hide in closet near the stove. He tried to stay quiet and watch to see if his chaser was going to find him. His plan failed when a hand crashed through the closet's wooden door and wrapped around his throat tightly.
He was then pulled out of the closet and dragged into The Living Room, where his mother was killed. He was thrown onto the floor, clutching for air, with anger in his eyes. Seven of the robed figures stood over Rowan, watching him. He questioned their motives of killing his mother and they answered: "You're mother was once one of us, a secret society that has existed for many centuries. She betrayed her loyalities when she gave us to the Ministry. Half of our order was captured while the other half went into hiding. We spent many years searching for her, we travel from the Americas, to the Carribean, Oceania, Asia and finally Europe. Our one goal was find the one traitor who lead to our downfall, and make her pay for her sins. And now it is done." All Rowan could do was scream and curse as he took in all the brutal facts that left the figure's lips. Rowan had looked around for weapon to defend himself with when he had saw his mother's mahogoney wand.
He grabbed a tight hold upon the wand and aimed at his mother's murderers. Before he could cast a spell of defence, one of the figures jumped at him, knocking him out cold. Rowan and his mother's lifeless body was discovered by his father, was coming home from work. After this experince, Rowan had plundered into a bout of depression. Rowan studied and practiced his magic with intensity, looking for the moment to avenge his mother's murder. Rowan is usually the quiet one of his class and tries to keep to himself. He doesn't let anyone in because he feels insecure about himself.

Roleplay Sample: It was a cold night, that's what happened if you were in the mountains. And Rowan was able to stand the cold he was in because he was used to it. He loved winter but didn't like on day of it, Christmas. He didn't like not because he was a Scrooge, but his mother was murdered on the day, he was there to see it. And besides, who would he share it with? His Mum was dead and Dad was workaholic who never took off from work.
He never left the school when Christmas time came around, he just stayed at the school. Rowan breathed into his mitted hands as he rubbed them together. He was wearing jeans, a sweatshirt, a Aqua house scarf and a black overcoat. While everyone was hanging out and doing their own things, Rowan had decided to go out for a walk by himself. Well, he's always by himself so it would be just a walk. He looked around with his hazel hues, that reflected the half-moon's light.
When ever Rowan would meet someone, they would say that he had delicate eyes, the eyes you would rarely seen on a person, or a man for that matter. And he always took it as a compliment. He stepped off from the entrance of the Fendwell's Café and made his way across the street, heading over to a bridge. He stepped onto the bridge and walked over to one of the edges, placing his arms on the wooden railing in front of him. He looked down to a small stream barely running underneath it. He then pulled his eyes to the moon again.
He took a breath before opening his lips to sing. "Crashed on the floor when I moved in, This little bungalow with some strange new friends, Stay up too late, and I'm too thin, We promise each other it's 'til the end, Now we're spinning empty bottles, It's the five of us, With pretty eyed boys girls die to trust, I can't resist the day, No, I can't resist the day." He sang softly. Rowan was able to sing pretty well, but didn't do it that much because he didn't need to. If people got to know him, they would know that he sang.Out of Character
