The Return of Bai Hu

It was a world of pain, one she desperately slithered away from thinking only of home.
Home was bright, shimmering, crystal, not the polluted grey of where she had been. Not full of red-eyed monsters clasping at her scales pulling contorting wanting her to become one of them. Home. Home. All her thoughts turned there, where she could not be hurt any more, could be one. Not far now...
Emma woke gasping, where was she, casting around she recognised her room, but a look in the mirror opposite the bed showed she was not herself, her mother form reacting to the threat had come into play. She slowed her heartbeat and transformed back to her, human, self.
It had been 2 months since her return from hell. And she had managed to work out how to control her form, at least when she was awake. But her dreams she had no control over and could only deal with the aftermath when she woke.

There was a soft scraping at the door. Michael entered smiling broadly "Emma you need to come out here, a friend has returned."
She pulled on some clothes, ran her fingers through her hair and came out to the lounge. And there he was, grinning cheekily at her, white hair sparkling, Bai Hu. A huge grin spread over her face, she felt safer than she had in weeks she moved towards him. Then she saw his face change, contort in fury, he leapt to his feet roaring at Michael, "YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!! It's a COPY!!!!!" Michael jumped in front of Emma as the Tiger roared.
"NO! NO! NO! " he yelled, "LISTEN to me Dad!" Suddenly Gold and Jade were there too in the Tigers way as he snarled, frustrated that he couldn't get through.
"This had better be good, you let a fucking MOTHER in here!"
Emma slumped to the floor, her face a mask of misery.
"Its Emma Dad, One Two Two fed her demon essence that has changed her some how thats what you can sense, but it IS Emma, Simone went into hell and got her herself."
"She did what?!" the Tiger sat down suddenly, shocked.
Then Michael Gold and Jade told him the story. Emma still slumped on the floor stared blindly ahead, tears falling down her face as they recounted John's demise, the demon essence being pumped into her and her rescue by Simone using her awesome yin power.
The Tiger looked incredulously at her. Finally Stone came to life, and taking human form said "Bai Hu White Tiger of the West, I the Jade Building Block of the World confirm all that you have been told. This is indeed the Lady Emma, Promised of the Dark Lord. She has though means of the former demon been temporarily transformed containing much demon essence, and as such has a demon form of a Mother, but she is still Emma and her core personality traits, feelings and stature remain. "
Rhonda put her arm on his, he searched her face and she too confirmed what had happened with a look.
Bai Hu shook his head in disbelief, then looked at Emma closely. "Show me" he said.
Emma transformed herself into her Mother form, the Tiger hissed but remained calm, she turned back to herself, and watched his face, her eyes mirroring her soul. He suddenly he stood then fell to his knees in front of her in salute. "My Lady, how about we do something about getting you back to normal - well normal for you which is of course extraordinary!"
Emma looked at him and smiled "Get up stupid Tiger I've told you before no need for that we are FAMILY! "
"Oh its her alright" grinned the Tiger, "so now what next?"

Thus my original suggestion way back ages ago that the blue dragon would be the new villain... He doesn't have to be evil to be dangerous to Emma, and if he thought she was a copy or a fake...

i think you'll find in the final fight bai hu and na zha were the only two celestials in the chamber with emma leo and john, hence the other winds would already be aware of what had happened, interesting angle on the dragon tho..............
as for whats next, who knows, another re-read and more inspiration?? have to do SOMETHING whilst waiting for Kylie to publish book 4, then we'll be really nagging to get books 5 & 6 lol (and more and more and more) when the next round of inspiration hits will let you know!
