I really can see with the vid link i posted why Kylie chose Holyhead also after I did some web research the only snake god(es) I can find in Celtic religion comes from around there

remember ... in western mythology snake is seen as a serpent the same as a Dragon [western - very rare they are and very powerful]

I was meaning Irish and Cristan cau St Pat was a Cristian and Ireland was taken over by The Cristians

I hope that this is the case, way back when (i'm not sure) I hypothesised that Emma may have something to do with the Irish, though, I looked, and Holy Island is in Wales, though so not the Irish, but of course, it's all a fairly small geographical area. Could be like the east/west/north/south in China. Looking forward to the next book, should be interesting reading about Wales. I've been to Scotland and England, but never Wales or Ireland.

I suspect that Indian Mythology might crop up, Emma has already mentioned the (spelling?) Bodisatvas, means a lot more research ahead for Kylie though when the "Shen UN" happens. (I secretly suspect Kylie is waaay ahead of us, and already knows exactly what cultures will feature and has been researching this for years)
