Yep, I got my first copy of 'Blue Dragon' in the mail yesterday with a congratulatory card from Stephanie, my publisher.

Much excitement all around, now we just have to wait for the distribution people to get trucking and get them out to bookstores!

Thats awesome, can't wait till it hits the shops. Have got to find out how this series finishes it been torture waiting wondering whats going to happen next. congratulations

on the way home on friday i thought i would ask about blue dragon's release date in the five book stores between me and the train station. the general concensus was that it was 01Aug07, and therefore it would'nt be in the store until the first week in Aug. Doesn't mean i won't haras the staff prior to then yet again! ;)

Rose here ...i work in a book store i get hundreds of questions a day on release dates atm " when does Harry potter come out...Can i get it earier" is the question of the week/ year...

i bug myself about blue dragon i check every shift to see if by some amazing feet its got an earlier date !

Well I got my copy of Red Phoenix a couple of days early by pre-ordering it (and the staff at my local bookstore being clueless as to what the actual release date was) So I have pre-ordered again and have my fingers and toes crossed :D

They actually told me they had it in a week early but unfortunately that was an invoicing error :angry: they had a book with a price sticker on it saying it was Red Phoenix that was.... something else completely a war story or something I think :blink:

In the end I was happy with 2 days early B)
