This topic is for discussing the newest trailer, and everything shown in it!

First off: I like the music, it has an epic feel to it, and manages to make DC3 look all that much better.

Now, What did we see:

1:10 - First Gameplay view of Catacombs!

1:11 - First Gameplay view of Black Knight 2, and of the Return to Dark Castle Gargoyle.

1:13 - New level, and enemy!

1:23 - Giant tree is in fact a scrolling level!

1:25 - New level 'Rooftop'

1:27 - New level 'Armory'

1:28 - New level 'Garden'

1:30 - New level 'Wine Cellar'

1:31 - New level 'Stables'

1:34 - Helecopterpack gameplay!

1:36 - Labyrinth Gameplay!

1:39 - New level, are those... Christmas lights?

1:41 - Possible Mario tribute?

1:43 - New area, a puzzle perhaps? Rocks make the stones disappear.

1:44 - Bryant, flying?

1:46 - They heard your whining, and now the title screen has been changed!

So there you have it... I don't think words can say how amazing it is, go look!

Scrolling looks great, the flying has me most intrigued, and sooo happy about the new title screen. I didn't realize discussing the trailer would be a spoiler as I assumed people would watch the trailer before reading the posts... but there you go. I'm glad you have this system in place. It'll be handy when the game FINALLY comes out. I've been on its heels for the past 5 and a half years...

I agree, the parallax effects look like they've been done amazingly well.

New title screen shot to here.

I like it, it seems to be a nice compromise between the original fluid look and the 50's monster green.

has anyone noticed the bomb falling down after Bryant mario-style breaks the bricks above him with rocks? No fireflower, but bombs precious, lotsa b-b-bombs smile.gif

I didn't notice that, I wonder what they're all needed for...

On a different note the ropes in "Garden" look insane. I can just see the choke points that's going to make. Birds coming at you from both directions, knots all over the place preventing your movement; it'll be wicked.

Man, that was amazing! I loved the comedic timing. Whoever edited that thing did a fantastic job!

I'm tempted to think that the flying bit was just a joke... but who knows? Is he really flying or is he rebounding from something?

The levels look incredible. Completely original and unique, glad to see that there's more to DC than just grey brick.

Also, I was curious about the Christmas lights. Are those slot machines beneath? I'm wondering if this is an Easter egg.

Oh, and I just have to comment on how amazingly fluid the graphics and scrolling are. I've been playing the slow-mo demo on my MacBook too long biggrin.gif! I really like the layering that's been done on Black Forest.

I don't care that the game didn't come out today, this was cool enough! Heap on the anticipation!

Mario breaks blocks with his head, not rocks, but yeah... really no clue why the bomb dropped. I originally thought that it looked like Breakout.

I didn't think of that, but looking at it now, it does look like that.

Haha at the xkcd reference.

I'm trying not to get too excited yet, because I have about 2 weeks until I'll have my Mac but damn, this trailer is making it hard for me! OMG SLOTS!
