Description: who are these people?
Jon God - July 16, 2007 09:03 PM (GMT)
"Dark Castle by Mark Pierce and Jonathan Gay
Color Version by The Amazing Timmer and Howard Vives
Manual By Joe Williams"
Interesting, I would guess that The amazing Timmer, is Tim Cotter of Delta Tao, but who is Howard Vives?
and did Joe ONLY do the manual for the game?

I think Howard Vives was another Delta Tao guy, maybe another friend of Joe's or something who was a founding member of the company...I dunno if he's still with them, though.

Well, depends what you mean by "publicity." There are some interviews where he's quoted saying that he doesn't believe in marketing his games, that it feels like "pimping them out" or something.
Probably a big reason why Dark Castle faded away to nothing in the '90's. (That, and we weren't around to help. :P)

Well, something to keep in mind, though, is that the internet was a relatively new phenomenon back when CDC was released, so the very idea of an online forum devoted to the game probably wasn't at the forefront of anyone's minds at that point. At least not mine, as I was a freshman in high school when I bought CDC and played it for the first time...:P
