Title: DC Dreams

izdale - September 13, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
In the year and a half that I have been a member of this forum, I have occasionally had dreams relating to Dark Castle. I thought it would be fun to post a topic of all of the dreams I have had, and to see if anyone else has ever had any. They don't happen very often, but they are amusing.

I had one several months before RTDC came out in which a boxed version was released (link).

I had another one about a week after RTDC actually did come out where I drove to (place) to thank the Zacks for making the game (link).

So last night I had a pretty funny DC dream. I was playing some new sequel, where Bryant could acquire multiple powers, in a Mega Man sort of way. I was throwing boulders that I had acquired from beating the henchman, etc. I was fighting some boss where the side walls kept moving in, and I kept trying to climb the walls like Mega Man could, but Bryant just kept long jumping. It seemed cool in the dream, but I don't think it really fits :P

How coincidental, I had a dream where I met Zack and Zack last night.

I haven't had a video game dream in a while now. Never had it for DC. I've had WoW dreams, a magic the gathering dream (that was not a good night) among others. I've been trying to get my brain to shut up about that stuff when I'm not doing it and that's kept them away. Immersion in a game is a funny thing ain't it?

izdale,

You should be thankful that you can sleep and have such wonderful dreams as you've mentioned!
Some of us can't and/or don't sleep at all due to worry and stress...
Some of us unfortunately just stay up all night on a computer playing games and so on and so forth...
Time is a problem for some reason as Albert Einstein pointed out in his works!
I've had zero DC dreams yet but I hope I do! :D

I have dreams every now and then of me falling in a pool of blood, which takes place in Fireball 2. I look around and see the semi-decayed bodies of my friends and family.

I keep swimming to get to the ledge that takes you to fireball 3, but I never reach it.

Ick.

I never dream about Dark Castle, and after what gruz describes, I'm glad I don't.

I remember having dreams of levels that didn't exist in BDC when I was a kid. I also had dreams of what the levels would look like in DC3, but that was when I was much younger. Plus, I don't need to dream of DC3 anymore, it's here.
