“…And the Zetos Clan wrote down all of their studies in a series of scrolls. However, the final works that were the necessary tools to learn Necromancy were written in a series of eight scrolls. The Zetos Clan then placed a curse on those scrolls. So that whoever shall strike the scroll shall be strike with a curse, a curse that will allow the past tortured victims lives to be relived in the cursed one’s dreams. The curse one will lose all happiness and love, forgetting the feeling of both. He will roam the earth unless he can find Happiness. But with this curse, the cursed one will gain better mental and psychical attributes…”
The book that Zafer was reading from was thrown across the room of the large library. The book landed on a table in front of an elder man whose white beard went down to his feet. His head itself was hairless and he wore a blue robe. His green eyes slowly crept open as he glanced upon the book.
“There are no books telling of any more scrolls! Dang it!” yelled Zafer as he went down a hall in-between to huge bookcases of books.
The large library had a lounge when you first enter it. But behind the lounge were large and long bookcases of books. The ceiling was far above your head and had beautiful paintings on it.
Piles of books lied all around the round table the elder man sat at.
“…You have always seemed to have such a big interest for the Zetos Clan…” said the elder man even though he knew the reason.
“How else I suppose to resurrect my father Artemis? How else am I suppose to bring back the side of the Kai Clan that followed my father?” exclaimed Zafer looking for more books on the Zetos Clan in a bookcase.
The old man glanced at the book Zafer was reading. He read over the ‘Cursed One’ part and it made him curious.
“So who is this cursed one?” asked the man.
“Why do you want to know?” asked Zafer across the large room as he was looking into a book.
“I’m just curious…” said the elder man.
“It you must know, it was Baron, my cousin and son of Tokai Kai,” said Zafer. The elder man’s eyes widen.
“So…he managed to escape from the war?” asked the elder man.
“Yes, unfortunately, he ruined my plans by destroying the scroll. But now he is cursed and suffering, but that doesn’t satisfy me,” said Zafer. He dropped the book on the ground as it did not help him learn of Necromancy.
“If I can’t resurrect my father, then maybe I should just re-create my own army and take over all of Elengade and Carnan as my father wanted to before…” said Zafer as he raised his hand and then clenched his fist. “…before Baron’s father killed him.”
“Don’t hold your regrets in the past, let it go,” said the elder man.
“How can I?!” snapped Zafer. He started to look through the books in the book case again. The elder man sighed.
“…How do you plan on taking over Northen Evlicta? The Danes Clan will rise up against you and it will not be easy to overcome them by how strong they have gotten in the years,” said the elder man.
“The Danes Clan!” spat Zafer. “Are nothing more than annoying little bugs getting in my way, and I’ll crush them all.”
“You underestimate them; they are much stronger than you think. They are the strongest Clan in all of Carnan,” said the elder man.
“Only because the Kai Clan isn’t around anymore,” said Zafer now walking up to the table. The elder man did not even look at him as he came closer.
“I’ve taught you many things Zafer, how to read, how to fight, and many historical things. But you have more intelligence than anyone I have known. Maybe you should just let this go…learn from the past. Don’t re-create this war,” said the elder man. Zafer was now standing beside him with a book in his hand.
“Re-create this war? Who will stand in my way? The Danes Clan might be mighty and strong, but what I am going after next will allow me to crush them with ease,” said Zafer. The elder man looked up with a brow raised.
Zafer just tossed a book on the table and then walked away putting a piece of paper in his pocket. The elder man looked curiously at the book that Zafer had tossed on the table. It read:
“Runes of the Dragel Zim”

The ship rocked side to side by the crashing waves. The passenger ship Baron was in was sailing through a minor storm at the moment. He was inside a cabin that was open to everyone. No one had their own cabin.
Baron could tell most of the sailors were scared.
“This storm is a bad sign, a sign telling us not to go onward,” said a sailor gasping heavily in fear. “Maybe we should not go to Lujati after all…”
“Don’t be afraid of a silly storm! This part of the Eros Sea has a lot of storms during this season,” said another sailor who had an eye patch.
“Scared?” thought Baron to himself. “They don’t know the meaning of fear…”
Baron recalled many nightmares he had in the past. Even just last night he hand another. But one, during the night he spent at the Shaman Norman’s house, that one was interesting. The warrior who charged in and killed all those Neo Clan Members was definitely Kai. He could tell by the way he fought and the Chinese Dragon Symbol along the blade.
The captain walked into the cabin.
“Alright listen up; we’re going to land on a port on a very small island a bit off from Lujati. Those of you who are explorers and have a death wish, you will get to Lujati by a small row boat. We ain’t taking you near that cursed island!” said the captain. Some of the explorers who wanted to document the White Forest were having second thoughts.
Baron cracked his neck as they ship rocked. He was getting extremely bored.
Soon enough they docked at the small port on the small island. When Baron and the other explorers came out, the rain and wind was there to greet them. The wind would direct the cold pellets of rain at Baron and the explorers.
“Follow me!” yelled the captain. They all followed the captain through the dock. They were heading towards a bar that was also an inn.
When they got in the skinny bartender who had a black mustache greeted them. He then started to hand out towels.
“Dang it, this stupid storm, we encounter several of these every year!” exclaimed the captain.
“Well it is the rainy season,” said the bartender pouring the captain some beer.
Baron was standing next to the captain but the samurai kept to himself. The bartender poured him a drink.
“So what’s your story, if you don’t mind me asking?” asked the bartender.
“I’m following the clouds,” said Baron, then taking a drink from his beer. The bartender was a bit confused, but didn’t bother asking.
It was true; he was following the clouds to this island. The clouds were moving here for some reason. He had been following them from Larmont. He expected that something was going on here.
By the morning it almost looked like there wasn’t a rain storm last night. There were hardly any puddles outside and the sun’s warm rays fell on Baron. He was standing near a rowboat as two villagers were getting it ready.
He looked ahead and he saw the island of Lujati. It was inhabited by Mirneans, a race that Vargrs despised for a reason Baron did not know. The Mirneans themselves hated humans and any other race. So Baron was sure he wasn’t going to get a warm welcome.

With one tug Zafer pulled his Katana out of a dead Mirnean. Zafer gasped for air, as this Mirnean was a scout and he had to chase after him before he could report back to his village. Zafer knew the direction of the village thanks to following this Mirnean. He started to head in that direction while keeping to the bushes. He wiped the blood off his blade so no Mirnean could see the color of red that was so easy to see.
Soon enough, he saw bridges and houses atop in the massive tree’s branches. They mostly stayed up there and hardly went on the ground. Zafer looked for a weak point but found none.
He did notice that there seemed to be a lot of Mirnean guards around one pacific hut. And this seemed to be a village filled with warriors.
Zafer found a ladder and ran over to it. He grabbed a rock and then threw it over at the base of a tree. It rustled in the bushes and all the Mirnean eyes were on it.
Zafer started to quickly climb the ladder as the Mirneans started to shoot arrows at the bush.
When Zafer climb all the way he appeared to be in a hut. A Mirnean guard was surprised to see him. But before he could holler for help Zafer shot forward unsheathing his Katana and stabbing the guard. He covered the guard’s mouth with his other hand. The guard’s scream could not be heard and it was a low mumble. The guard slowly fell on the ground dead. Zafer sheathed his sword as he hid against the wall of the hut near the door.
He waited five minutes till two more guards came through. With one quick shift motion of his right hand his Katana was unsheathed and slashed one of the guard’s in the stomach. The guard immediately fell on the ground dead.
Zafer ran forward as the other guard looked at his comrade falling. Zafer stabbed the guard in the stomach and covered his mouth with his hand. The guard slowly fell slowly on the ground.
What Zafer did not see was that there was a third guard, an archer. The archer was behind the other guards. He started to rapidly walk back as he hollered to his comrades all along this tree post. Zafer ran forward and slit his throat before he could even string an arrow.
Arrows flew pass him and stuck into the large tree trunk. Zafer started to run towards the next hut. He rolled inside it and as he came up he sent his Katana into the stomach of a guard. Two other guards unsheathed their swords and rushed at him.
Zafer parried their blows and then slit their throats with one quick motion. He saw another guard who just grabbed the handle of his sword that was still in a sheath. He ran forward and stabbed the guard in the stomach before he could even pull out his sword.
Zafer heard footsteps behind him and he pulled his blade out and stabbed it behind him. Zafer then saw a guard ran towards him. Zafer shot forward slashing the guard’s neck and then spinning around and slashing another guard in the stomach. Blood flew on his as he did these quick cuts.
Zafer looked around for something to protect himself against the arrows outside. He found a square shield in the corner. He sheathed his sword and then grabbed it. He ran out with the shield guarding him. The arrows bounced off the metal shield.
He then ran on a bridge towards the archers. The shield was blocking all of the arrows and he ran past the other arrows. The shield was in front of him as he held it with both hands.
Any warrior that came at him was pushed off the bridge and fell to his death.
When he got on the one wooden platform that all the archers were on, he started to knocked the shielded into one row of them; knocking them all off. He then spun around and threw the shield and it knocked one of the archers in the head, knocking him off the platform. He screamed as he fell to his death.
There were four archers left, and Zafer ran forward. He judged the time they strung their arrows and had a feeling when they would release. He rolled on the ground as they fired; all the arrows whizzed above him.
He got up and slashed two in the stomach. He then ran forward and stabbed one of them in the head. Before the other could string his arrow, his trachea was cut. He suffocated as he fell down the platform.
More archers started to come across the bridge. Zafer grabbed one of the dead bodies and used it as a shield as he ran forward. The arrows stuck in that body as Zafer covered his front with it as he ran across the bridge. When he got close to the lead archer, he stabbed his Katana through the dead body in which it stabbed the archer.
He threw the dead body forward and it knocked into the other archer. He then ran forward slashing through him and then continued onward and killed the other two.

He then walked off the bridge and back on the wooden platform. His Katana was covered in red Mirnean blood.
He was on the platform where the hut that was well guarded was. The door was chained closed. There was a bunch of guards guarding it. They all drew their swords.
“You have come to your end, Human Scum,” said the leader. Zafer just gave a smirk.
One of the Mirneans ran forward with two following. Zafer sidestepped out of the way of the chop. With one quick motion of his hand he cleaved through the Mirnean’s blue tunic and through his stomach. All these Mirnean’s wore hoods with their tunics.
Zafer slashed through the two others that followed. Another came at Zafer and Zafer took a step forward stabbing him through the stomach.
Two Mirneans charged at him at once. He blocked their slashes and slashed one in the stomach. He then blocked a chop as the other fell down dead.
Zafer pushed off his opponent’s blade and stepped forward while spinning and decapitated his opponent.
The remaing Mirnean guards watched their comrades die. They then all roared and charged forward.
Zafer ran forward as well and blocked and parried many attacks. He killed many of them and none of their blades left a mark on him. He was quick and nimble and it was a rain of blood that was coming from the Mirnean’s bodies.
There were three left, but Zafer soon killed the other two and there was now only one. The last one was better than the rest and was the leader.
Zafer soon saw an opening and cut the Mirnean’s hand off. The Mirnean fell to the ground. He slowly looked back up at Zafer as the tip of Zafer’s blade touched his throat.
“Don’t free the madman in that hut. His evil is unmatched…and you will grieve for doing so,” said the Mirnean Leader.
“Is he a runescriber?” asked Zafer.
“Yes, a very powerful one,” said the Mirnean Leader.
“Good,” said Zafer. With that he sent a quick slash with his Katana and the Mirnean’s head was no longer attached to his shoulders.
Zafer pulled the key off the headless body’s belt. He then unlocked the chained door. The chains and lock fell with a loud thud on the wooden platform.
Without any warning the doors flung open and Zafer jumped back. A strong wind of gust was the force that did it.
Zafer stood with his Katana ready to strike.
Out of the darkness of the hut, a black boot stepped forward. Chains fell to the ground as they fell off the figure. He wore a black cloak and tunic. His long purple hair went down to his lower back. His long bangs covered part of his face.
He raised his head, and Zafer saw pale eyes with no pupils. There was a purple crystal, the size of a dime, infused his his head.
“Who…are you?” asked the man.
“Zafer Kai,” said Zafer. The Mirnean raised a brow.
“Kai?” asked the Mirnean.
“Yes, and who are you?” asked Zafer.
“I am Axture, the master of runescribing,” said the Mirnean. He lifted his arms up as to show off himself and the entire village. “They had me locked up in here for I was too powerful. These fools are too weak, but many of their Priests cast a spell on me and I was sent to stay in this hut for the rest of my days for the crimes I have committed.”
“Alright Axture, let’s partner up,” said Zafer.
“Why?” asked Axture.
“Because of this,” said Zafer as he tossed a piece of paper at the Mirnean. The Mirnean caught it and looked at Zafer before slowly unfolding it. He saw what was on the piece of paper and gave a short laugh.
“So,” said Axture as he slowly raised his head to meet Zafer’s eyes. “You’re after the Runes of Dragel Zim. Do you even understand the language of Dragel Olga?”
“Dragel means Dragon and Zim means honor, the Ruens of Dragon Honor is what I’m after,” said Zafer. Axture chuckled.
“So you want me to lead you to them?” asked Axture.
“The map is on the piece of paper, but I need a Runescriber to open the temple for me,” said Zafer.
“Tell me why I shouldn’t kill you here and now and get the runes myself?” asked Axture. Zafer chuckled.
“Because you don’t know the magic words to open the door inside the temple that holds them; because if you did, you Mirneans would have found them already,” said Zafer. Axture returned the chuckled as he was amused by this man’s plan.
“Alright…I’ll team up with you,” said Axture. The two didn’t know how they would split the runes, but they would figure it out when they found them.
“Good, now let’s head out,” said Zafer. Zafer turned and saw a bunch of reinforcements over the wooden bridge. A bunch of archers on other platforms were aiming arrows at them already.
“It’s Axture! He’s been freed!” yelled one of the Mirneans that was leading the charge on the bridge.
Zafer looked at Axture.
“Why don’t you show me how strong of a Runescriber you are?” asked Zafer. Axture stepped forward in front of Zafer.
The Mirnean Archers shot dozens of dozens of arrows at them. A rune was drawn in the air without Axture even moving his finger to do it. A purple shield surrounded them and the arrows were destroyed when they hit the shield.
While the shield disappeared, Axture drew a rune in the air with his finger. The rune started to glow a burning red and a wall of fire shot forward burning all who were on the bridge.
He then lifted the same finger in the air and twirled it around. A light blue light glowed on his finger and in the air. A bunch of icicles rained down on all the archers. There wasn’t a Mirnean left alive at this Tree Village. Axture looked back at Zafer.
“We’re done here, let’s go,” said Axture. With that they left the village and headed on their way.

Baron’s boat was right near the beach of Lujati. Two Mirneans were walking toward the boat with bows and arrows strung in them. There were no humans in the small row boat. They started to go in the water and it got as high as their chest. There was no way that they would be able to shoot arrows now. So they put their arrows back in the quiver and did so with their bow as well.
“This is odd,” said one Mirnean.
“Yeah, looks like someone abandon ship before they got here,” laughed the other.
Within an instant Baron’s fist rose out of the water and uppercut the one that laughed in the chin. He fell back into the water as Baron quickly got the other in a head lock. He kept on squeezing until the Mirnean passed out. He heard the other Mirnean gasp for air as he rose out of the water. Baron sent an elbow to the Mirnean’s nose. The Mirnean fell back into the water. The Mirnean knew he had to get away from Baron so he swam back to the shore and Baron put the other unconscious Mirnean atop the boat so he wouldn’t drown. He then swam after the other.
When the other Mirnean got back on shore, he quickly grabbed his bow but Baron’s blade met with his throat. Baron didn’t kill him, only held the tip of the blade to his throat. The Mirnean slowly placed his bow down and lifted up his hands. Baron told him to get on his feet and he did.
“What do you want?” asked the Mirnean.
“Take me back to your village, I mean no harm,” said Baron.
“It doesn’t look like you mean no harm, hiding in the water and then sneak attacking us like that,” said the Mirnean.
“Would you have even thought twice before shooting your arrows if you saw me in that boat? And if I would want to harm you I would have done it already. I even put your comrade in my boat so he wouldn’t drown. Isn’t that enough proof?” asked Baron. The Mirnean thought for awhile. He had never trusted a human, so why should he start now. But what the human said was true and he truly didn’t mean any harm.
“Alright…I’ll take you to my village and we’ll see if you’re innocent,” said the Mirnean. He then led Baron through the beach and into the White Forest with the tip of Baron’s blade touching his back. The White Forest was beautiful, and birds flew from branch to branch on the large trees. These trees were known as Eune Trees. These trees grew thousand of feet off the ground and Baron had heard that this was where the Mirneans built their villages; up in these massive trees. It was a great defensive fortress for any attack. And Baron had never seen any trees this big before in any forest he had been in. This truly was a unique island.

The Mirnean village was now in sight. They started to get closer and closer to it. But when they got below it, there was an eerie feeling.
Baron’s boot hit something. Both the Mirnean and the samurai looked down to see a dead Mirnean on the ground. The Mirnean gasped as he saw his dead comrade.
“No this is impossible!” exclaimed the Mirnean as he fell to his knees.
“What happened?” asked Baron.
“I don’t know,” said Mirnean. He then jolted his head up towards the tree village above.
“No…it can’t be…is he?” asked the Mirnean. He ran for a ladder and Baron followed him.
When they climbed up the Mirnean saw one wooden bridge was blown away. He and Baron ran along a wooden platform and saw icicles stuck into Mirnean Archers. The Mirnean’s breathing got heavier and heavier as they ran past the dead bodies.
They eventually got to a wooden platform covered in dead bodies. The Mirnean slowly walked up to a hut that had chains on the door step. The doors were blown away.
“No!” yelled the Mirnean. He kept the yell going and going. Baron wondered what he was so upset about.
He did notice that all of the dead Mirnean’s injuries were caused by a sword. A skinny and sharp blade, not one like a great sword or a normal sword; this was done by a Katana. Baron only had two people on his mind that would be good enough to cut through Mirneans this easily. One was Gerralk, but Gerralk would never do something like this. Another was Zafer, and Baron was sure it was him. He hadn’t known where Zafer had gone since his time in the desert.
“A truly pleasant sight isn’t it?” asked a deep, demonic voice. Baron’s eyes moved to the left and saw the demon Gama wearing his black cloak with a hood over his skull mask. His figure was bigger than Baron’s. But Gama was just a spirit that haunted Baron.
“I’m sure this is a great sight for you,” said Baron quietly so the Mirnean couldn’t hear him. But the Mirnean ended up going in the hut to check things out.
“Ah yes, I can feel that a strong and evil force was locked here. Do you think you’re strong enough for this for?” asked Gama taunting the samurai.
“Hopefully it will be a good challenge,” said Baron.
The Mirnean came out of the hut.
“Brave warrior, if you would, please help me find and destroy this evil force; his name is Axture. He is a master Runescriber and the most powerful priests and sorcerers of our village had to lock him away for he was too strong and evil,” said the Mirnean.
“Do you have a map around these woods?” asked Baron.
“No but I know my way arou-”
Baron’s blade came quickly out of its sheath and slashed the Mirnean in the groin and all the way up to the head. Blood flew out like a volcanic eruption.
“It was a waste to keep you alive for this long. And I’m not going to be teaming up with you either,” said Baron as the body fell backwards. The Mirnean’s own blood covered him.
Baron then started to make his way down the tree village. He soon made it to the ground as Gama looked at him.
“As amusing as that was, how do you expect to find your way around now?” asked Gama.
“I’ll follow the clouds,” said Baron. Gama chuckled. Baron had been following the clouds since he came here so why should he stop now?

“Master Nomald, two strangers have been spotted and are below us!” exclaimed a Mirnean soldier.
The old Mirnean’s eyes slowly crept open. He sighed as he stood. He wore a purple robe and had a long white beard. He also had very long white hair. He looked to the Mirnean soldier and he knew him as one of his apprentices, Cascar.
“Cascar, who is out there? I have sensed a dark force earlier this morning, as a matter of fact, two evil forces,” said Nomald. Cascar looked outside the hut and his long blonde hair swayed in the wind as he did.
“We don’t know sir. One has a Katana, and wears a black and blue tunic. The other’s appearance matches that of…Axture…” said Cascar. Nomald’s expression did not change as he heard that cursed name…Axture.
“I felt it was him…that demon…” said Nomald. He walked out and then stood at the edge of the wooden platform. To his right stood Cascar and next to Cascar was another one of his apprentices and another apprentice to his left.
The apprentice standing next to Cascar had long light blue hair. Her eyes were dark blue and had a green gem in the center of her forehead. She wore a blue and white tunic. Her name was Crystal.
Cascar himself wore a brown tunic and had a red gem in the center of her forehead.
The apprentice to Nomald’s left had brown hair and its bangs almost covered his eyes. He wore a blue tunic and had a blue gem in the center of his forehead. He also wore a red belt around his waist. His name was Arc.
Nomald looked down at the big wooden platform below them where several guards waited. Leading up to the large wooden platform attach to a large tree was a long and huge ramp. Two warriors stood at the bottom of that ramp.
Zafer unsheathed his Katana as he and Axture began to make their way up the ramp. A huge squad of Mirnean Warriors ran at them. Zafer began to slash any that came near him.
Axture did knife hand motions with his hands and the Mirnean Warriors were being cut through by invisible blades.
“…Wind Blades…” muttered Nomald.
The two evil comrades began to make their way up; killing the warriors as they went.
They soon made it to the very top and were on the large wooden platform. They stood and started into the eyes of the unit of Mirnean warriors.
“I’ll handle this,” said Zafer as he stepped forward.
Four Mirneans charged forward and attacked Zafer with their swords. Zafer blocked their attacks and slashed them along the stomachs. Zafer then spun around and cut one in the throat. He killed the fourth one by ducking under a swing and then stabbing him in the stomach.
Three more warriors charged at Zafer but he charged back and slashed them along the stomach. He then ran at the entire unit. The unit was surprised by his charge. But they thrust their swords forward. Zafer jumped into the air and performed two front flips over them. He came down and stabbed one in the stomach. The warrior tried to scream but blood just gurgled out of his mouth as he tried to make noise.
Zafer did not pull his blade out, instead he cut it right through and slashed the Mirnean in the lower spine that was behind him. He then sent a stab into one’s neck. He spun his katana around vertically and it slashed along a Mirnean’s face that was behind him.
He then took a side step forward and side kicked one in the stomach. He spun in a full 360 and cut two along the trachea. He then sent his blade into the skull of another.
He was absolutely surrounded by the Mirneans. But that didn’t make a difference. Zafer’s blade slashed and pierce every single Mirnean that was close too him. He was faster than most of them, so they were killed right when they had tried to attack him. The Chinese Dragon symbol that ran along the flat side of his blade was covered in blood.
Soon all the Mirnean’s were on the floor around Zafer dead. But one was still alive. He held his sword in a defense position. He like the rest of the warriors had a hood covering his face.
Zafer brought his blade up as he stared into the eyes of the warrior. He licked the blood on the flat end of his blade. The warrior shook in fear.
Zafer slowly stepped towards him but his steps hasten as he then ran at the warrior. The warrior screamed in fear as Zafer ran at him. With one quick motion the Mirnean’s head no longer rested on his shoulders; it rested on the ground. The headless body fell to its knees while dropping his sword. It then fell down.
Zafer wiped the blood off his blade with a cloth. He then sheathed it as he walked over to Axture and stood by him.

Axture lifted his head up and his pale eyes with no pupils glanced up at Nomald. A sinister smirk spread across his face. Nomald just stared down at the demon.
More Mirnean warriors came on the platform from two other small bridges to the side. They drew their weapons and started to approach Zafer and Axture.
“Oh good, more,” said Zafer unsheathing his Katana. Axture stretched out his arm and blocked Zafer’s path. Zafer glanced at him.
“It’s my turn,” said Axture. Zafer smirked as he sheathed his Katana and took steps back.
Axture looked at the Mirnean soldiers who were beginning to charge. Fire started to crawl out of Axture’s mouth as his forehead’s gem started to glow red. He then opened his mouth and flames flew out. The Mirnean warriors hollered in fear and pain as the flames consumed them all. They were all dead.
The flames stopped coming for Axture’s mouth and his forehead’s gem returned to its normal purple color.
“He’s a monster!” exclaimed Cascar. Krystal and Arc were just as equally surprised.
A smirk spread across Axture’s face. He lifted up his airs and stretched them out. He took steps forward while spinning around. A maniacal laughter came out of his mouth as he did.
“I’m free!” yelled Axture. He then stopped and his eyes locked onto Nomald’s eyes. Nomald lifted up his hand. Fires started to form around it. He then cast it down upon Axture and a huge fire ball shot out. Axture performed a back flip and evaded the large fireball. It smashed and exploded on the wooden platform.
Nomald then jumped off the wooden platform he was on and hovered down on the huge wooden platform Axture and Zafer were on.
“Now master, it is time to see who is stronger,” said Axture. Nomald sighed.
“You were my greatest pupil, perhaps too great. Your greed for power and destruction caused you to go berserk. You are now a danger among all living beings,” said Nomald.
“As I like to be,” said Axture.
He then sent knife hand strikes in the air. Splinters started to peel off the wooden platform as invisible blades slashed through them and went towards Nomald. Nomald swayed his hands and moved the blades out of his way. They slashed into the bark of the large tree behind him.
Axture stopped performing the Wind Blades as he knew they weren’t working. He opened his mouth as flames flew out and raced towards Nomald.
They consumed him but when the flames finished, Axture saw that Nomald had covered himself with Arcane Shield. The purple shield then powered down.
Axture lifted up his left hand and a fire ball materialized in his hand. Nomald did but kept his hand low. Axture and Nomald fired at each other at the same time. Both of the fireballs exploded as they hit each other.
Axture formed three icicles in the air. He threw them at Nomald but he moved them out of the way and they stuck into the tree behind him.
“Come on Master, show me what you got,” said Axture. Nomald sighed. He then sent several knife hand strikes through the air. Axture sent his own Wind Blades and the blades cut into each other.
Axture reached out his hand and an energy beam shot at Nomald. Nomald tried to perform Arcane Shield but the Ion Beam was too fast and it hit him. He blasted back and smashed into the tree. He coughed and looked up to see an incoming fire ball. He quickly performed another fire ball and countered back. Both of them exploded in front of Nomald.
An all black arrow shot into Nomald’s left shoulder. He groaned in pain but then pulled the arrow out. He shot his hand forward and an Ion Beam shot out.
Axture was taken by surprise and the Ion Beam exploded in his face. He fell on his back and groaned. He quickly got up but another Ion Beam hit him in the chest. He stood his ground but was pushed back a bit.
He saw his master’s hand circling around. Axture then looked up and saw Icicles forming above him. They then came down but a purple shield formed all around Axture and blocked the icicles.
The shield was then transferred into hands. He shot them forward and two Ion Beams shot at his master.
Nomald pointed his hand forward that was in the shape of a gun. A green blast fired out of it and destroyed the Ion Beams. It went on to hit Axture but Axture brought his arms up and covered himself with them. He took the blow and was pushed back farther.
He then lowered his guard and reached out his hand.
Nomald groaned and hunched over as his energy was taken away from him. He coughed up some blood as Axture used the Leech spell. Nomald fell on his knees when the spell was over. Axture’s wounds from this fight were all healed and it was like Nomald was the one who took all the blows.
“Master!” exclaimed the three apprentices in unison on the wooden platform above.
“Your skills have been matched and surpassed old man!” yelled Axture. Nomald groaned as he lifted up his head.
“N-Not yet!” exclaimed Nomald as he lifted his hand that was in the shape of a gun. Axture quickly did the same and green energy blasted from both.
The blasts smashed into each other and they struggled to overpower each other. The three apprentices on the wooden platform above were surprised by this power; as was Zafer.
But soon Axture overpowered his master and the green energy blast grew twice as big and traveled at high speeds towards Nomald. Nomald was blasted and smashed into the tree’s bark. Splinters flew forward and so did blood as it came out of Nomald’s mouth and head. Axture’s laughter filled the air.
“You are weak compared to me!” roared Axture. He started to walk forward to finish his master.
But then three figures jumped in front of Nomald. Two fire balls flew at Axture. He didn’t have time to perform Arcane Shield so he brought his arms up and the fire balls exploded on him. He was pushed back but did not fall.
He lowered his arms to see Crystal healing her master. The two others, Cascar and Arc, were standing guard with smoke coming from their hands.
“Who are you worms?” asked Axture.
“Don’t underestimate us!” yelled Cascar. He fired another fire ball that Axture simply knocked away.
“You are n-no match for him!” exclaimed their master. He stood to his feet still worn out from his fight.
He waved his arms around, writing a rune in the air.
“We must go!” yelled Nomald. Within an instant Nomald and his three apprentices were teleported away.

Twigs crunched under the weight of Baron’s metal boots. He yawned in boredom, wanting to do more than just walking around.
It had been about a day in his traveling. He was following the clouds as best as he could. But most of the time the trees blocked the sky above.
“Fire!” roared a voice.
Baron was hit by what felt like a meteor. He fell forward and hit the ground on his face. He got up and glared at who dare hit him.
There was a man standing with long blonde hair put in a ponytail that rested down his neck and on his shoulder. His hand was extended.
“You’re not Mirnean!” exclaimed the Mirnean that fired the fire ball. He had an orange gem that was the shape of a dime on his head. His comrade beside him wore a blue tunic with a red belt.
Baron got up and unsheathed his Katana.
“You want to fight?” asked Baron. The Mirnean laughed.
“You can’t stand against a rune caster with a sword!” exclaimed the rune caster.
“Let’s find out if I can?” asked Baron with a smirk.
“Hmf, I don’t like your attitude,” with that the Mirnean fired a fire ball at Baron once again. Baron rolled out of the way and it exploded on the side of a large tree bark.
Baron ran forward and dodged two more fire balls. When he was close enough he sent a slash but a blue shield formed around both rune casters. The blond haired one was surprised at Baron getting this close to him.
Baron knew this shield probably protected them well, but they probably couldn’t do anything while in it.
Baron raised his Katana up and brought it down several times, hammering on the shield. Soon the shield broke and the Mirnean in the blue tunic fell to the ground dazed.
Baron then brought his Katana back for a finishing slash to the blond haired Mirnean but there was a cry of a “No!” and a pink shield formed next to the blond haired Mirnean’s neck. Baron’s Katana was stopped by that shield. He looked onward and saw a female Mirnean with long blue hair and a blue gem in the center of her head.
“Please, we come in peace!” exclaimed the girl with her arms out, using her magic to hold the shield up.
Baron glared back at the Mirnean with blond hair. The Mirnean just glared back.
“I beg of you warrior, we were attacked by two other warriors and now we are on high alert for anyone who isn’t a Mirnean since one of the attackers was a human!” exclaimed the female.
Baron thought for a bit. He could probably kill the two Mirnean’s next to him right now, but that wouldn’t help at all except for filling his blood thirst. But if he kept them alive, then he might be able to find his way around.
He sheathed his Katana and took two steps back. The blond Mirnean’s nose wrinkled up as he gave a stern look to Baron. Baron just smirked.
The female ran over to them as the one in the blue tunic got up.
“Thank you warrior,” said the female getting in front of the blond Mirnean.
“My name is Krystal, the one that attacked you is Cascar, and the one to my right is Arc,” said the woman.
“Baron Kai,” said Baron. Cascar was annoyed that Krystal stepped in front of him but did nothing else.
“Um, do you mind coming with us back our master?” asked Krystal. Baron thought it was a trap. He thought about it for a while.
“Please, it’s not trap,” said Kyrstal. Baron could tell from the look in her eyes that she was serious. He nodded.
Baron and the three Mirneans started to make their way through the forest.

The Mirneans and Baron were walking through the forest. In the distance Baron could see an old man sitting on a boulder in front of a pond. They soon got to him and he gave a curious look at Baron.
“This is a warrior, he might want to help us,” said Krystal. Baron didn’t remember saying anything like that.
The old Mirnean raised a brow.
“Ahem, well,” he scanned Baron. “It seems you are a strong warrior, but I sense a dark force within you.”
“No master, he was very nice and spared Cascar’s life!” exclaimed Krystal. Cascar gritted his teeth.
The old Mirnean got up.
“My name is Nomald…your name is Baron Kai?” asked Nomald.
“You can read minds?” asked Baron.
“No a rabbit told me,” said Nomald. Baron either though he was insane or he was taunting him.
“You see, I can understand animals and can even chat with them. I had a rabbit go with my apprentices to come and tell me if anything weird happens to them. He came back and told me of you,” said Nomald. Baron chuckled.
“That seems like a…handy skill,” said Baron.
“Yes it is, or else I wouldn’t know of your coming. But even the rabbit knew there was an evil spirit in you,” said Nomald.
“Oh wise one,” said a demonic voice. Baron could already sense that the demon was to his left. No one could see Gama except for Baron.
“What makes you say that?” asked Baron.
“Well he did guess that I was-”
“Not you,” thought Baron as Gama could hear his thoughts.
“What makes me? The rabbit told me that he sensed the evil spirit in you,” said Nomald.
“Okay, so the next time I see a rabbit I should kill it because it could tell you something?” asked Baron. Nomald chuckled.
“Well I can chat with all animals, but very clever idea,” said Nomald. “But I hope we won’t become enemies.”
Baron was silent.
“What should we do now?” asked Arc. The old man’s eyes twinkled.
“We go see Lady Phera,” said Nomald.

Before Baron could find anything out about Phira, he found himself riding on horses that Nomald had summoned with his weird ability to ‘communicate with animals’.
But after they started to ride for a bit, Krystal was kind enough to tell Baron of who Lady Phira was.
She was a powerful Mirnean, said to be almost equal to Axture. Except her equality wasn’t in power, it was in wisdom. Axture was more powerful, but she was wiser. She was also said to be ‘All Knowing.’ Baron was sure that this was just overrating her wisdom, as he didn’t really think a human, nor a Mirnean or any other race for that matter, would be ‘All Knowing.’
She was said to be ‘All Knowing’ only because she could see into the future at times. But her prophecies came in riddles. She even prophesized that Axture would betray the Mirneans, and would even then break free of their hold on him, but didn’t say that it would be exactly him. So it still came to a surprise when he betrayed the Mirneans. Because of this some hated Lady Phira, but some praised her for her powers.
She then had another prophecy, where she then went into a sacred part of the forest, staying there for the rest of her life until that prophecy was fulfilled.
Baron now knew why they were going to her. They obviously wanted to learn of another prophecy, to see if she was able to see if they would be able to defeat Axture.
Baron did notice, however, that Kyrstal was very kind hearted for a Mirnean. Mirneans were said to hate humans or any other race for that matter, but she was the nicest to Baron. The Samurai never really smiled back at her, or whenever she would talk about how beautiful trees or butterflies were, he wouldn’t share that same kind of awestruck beauty.
They had camped out for two nights before they even came close to getting to the sacred part of the forest.
They were now on their horses, at the edge of the forest where the sacred part lied.
“It’s time to go,” said Nomald.
They rode into the sacred part of the forest, seeing that leaves were yellow and the bark on trees was pure white. No animals, just the sound of doves fluttering in the trees. Their horses seemed not to be disturbed by the mystical presence of the forest.
“It’s…beautiful…” said Krystal.
“I’ll say,” said Arc.
Baron didn’t find it that beautiful, but instead, found it almost, un-easing. There was a presence to this part of the forest that he didn’t like. It was too beautiful and peaceful for him. He was sure it was because of the Zetos Curse that he had.
Soon there was a small creek that was in front of them. The sun’s rays sparkled on it.
Their horses stopped, not wanting to pass the creek. Nomald got off his horse.
“Come,” said Nomald to his comrades.
They got off their horses, Baron holding onto the handle of his Katana tightly. They took a step over the small creek, and soon they vanished in thin air as they were blinded by a bright white light.

OOC: I'm not up to doing this RP for some reason, kept dragging it along, and it has lost all of my interest. So I'm just going to cancel this RP, it never happened.
