Mike Killins....for the first time ever, in the crude costume he'd put together, took to the skies as Quasar. Gravity, density, and bursts of light, were all he'd learned to control....but he knew there was more.

He smiled. Always the bullies. Some of them were there now, at his school, taking advantage of the confusion to break in. He considered letting them. He had no special attachment to the school.....but he hated these bullies....and now, finally, he could make them pay....

Brian looked around the crowd, wondering what the confusion was. He looked up seeing Quasar, smirking a bit. "Jeez, what's with everyone today? You'd think they've never seen a guy flying around in a funny looking costume before." He looked over seeing Kelly, suddenly feeling very confused. He liked Kelly and all, but he was starting to have feelings for Rhea. He didn't know what to do at this point, he wasn't going to try and juggle two women, but he didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings either.

Quasar grinned.....as the folks who'd gathered to break into the school. The bullies who tormented him....went sailing up into the air, then dropped, as gravity returned to them.

"It's payback time!!"

A pulse wave blasted forth from Quasar's hands....pure gravitational force.....and though it didn't hit the bullies...it did crunch their car.

"Get out of here.....don't ever come back. Not now...not ever again. Or you'll suffer the same fate as your car!" He yelled down at them.

Now, just maybe....a few less people would pick on him at school....

Quasar smiled. This whole super power thing was fun. Imagine...the awe and respect he could now command. He though of Krystel, and the dance, and grinned foolishly.

Then looking down at the high school, he frowned. "I think, it's time for some....remodeling......" He raised his arms, and the gymnasium roof began to rip slowly free.....

The school's new principal, Mr. Thorne, surveyed the damage, and nodded to the police officer. "I wouldn't worry. I'll have a team in tomorrow, to effect repairs. And I wouldn't worry about a report. I'll have this all straightened out in the morning."

The officers nodded, eyes wide open, blank expressions on their faces.

A new force had arrived at Gotham High.....and school would never be the same again....
