pogue would like to say that he believes in god, but with so much speculation he isn't entirely certain about what it is he believes in. he would like to think there is something out there that deserves his devotion to faith, some higher power of some sort or something, he just hasn't figured out what it is yet.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY?
his beautiful yellow ducati motorcycle. working, with great skill, on automobiles. being on the swim team. spending all the time he has to offer with the most important person to him at the current time; be that his girlfriend or his very best friend, but more often with his love interests. he's always had a fond liking to the sport of football, but is undecided whether he wants to join any team that his school may have to offer; he feels as though it may seem either disloyal to his other hobbies or that he wouldn't be well-received and he wouldn't have the time he needed for it. playing pool and foosball at nicky's. he also enjoys indulging in some alcoholic beverages in severe moderation.
WHAT DO YOU NOT ENJOY?
pogue isn't typically keen on being overly social, no matter who drags him into doing something. he dislikes people who instigate stressful or tension-filled situations, mostly due to the fact that said situations are less than necessary. there are certain foods, most of the unhealthy variety, that he doesn't like, hot dogs in particular. he doesn't see himself wanting to be a vegetarian, he just thinks there are better things to eat in which you have more likelihood of knowing exactly what you're eating. he enjoys junk food, burgers, and fries just as much as the next teenage boy. he sometimes wonders if his ways are at all contradictory.
WHAT DO YOU FEAR MOST?
he never wants to lose any of the other sons to their over-using. even though, he's on the swim team and is as comfortable in water as any old fish in the sea, pogue has had a number of nightmares which lead him to believe that he is afraid of drowning. also, he has the tiniest amount of irrational fear when it comes to the dangerous storms that often breeze through ipswich; he worries about crashing in the rain on his bike, or getting struck by lightning, among other things that could happen in a town made of mostly beach land and powerlines.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS IN LIFE?
possibly graduating some college if he can find one that meets his standards. he probably won't have much say in that matter though, due to his parents' attitudes and incredibly high standards set for him. pogue plans on owning his own mechanic's garage in the near future. he also wants to be able to use his power more often and not be scared of the severe consequences, so he hopes to gain a safe balance with doing so.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUIRKS?
as mentioned before, he cannot stand the sight of a hot dog no matter whether they are being consumed or not, or even if they're not actually real, just those weirdly random decorations or something that certain restaraunts tend to have. things like that, oh, and the stupid halloween costumes. . ., that's just strange and we all know it. there's just something about them that just disgusts him something terrible, always has been. you know what, it doesn't even have to be a hot dog, per se. come to think of it, those stupid polish sausages bother him too, and the little ones in the cans, vienna or whatever, those too. oh, and potted meat. .spam, what is that? those are just a deplorable excuse for substance. typically, pogue won't go off the wall and rant about his uncomfort with said sausage, meat product, things. . . also, he wouldn't call himself a neat freak, but he does have certain pet peeves when it comes to the order of his own home. in his appartment or at least in his room he will make sure that 'there's a place for everything and everything in its place'. maybe it's just his general possessiveness, or maybe he's got a tiny bit of o.c.d., but no matter what it is, it gives him the idea that whomever has the privilege to be in his appartment should know what it means to respect another person's possessions as well as their own. he's never actually found himself that irritated with his company to have to act on his perfectionist preferences, but it's probably not too inconceivable for the near future.
WHAT ARE YOUR HABITS?
it's easily hidden, but he is a real romantic and sweet-natured guy. when pogue finds himself a girl, she can be reassured that she'll be showered in affection. and he'll make sure she's protected just the same. he's damn good with his hands, be it under the hood of a car or in other, more intimate, situations. if you need to find him, a good place to start would be at the nearest automobile that needed service. pogue has developed a deep passion for the art of mechanics. he has a tendency to offer fixing up someone's car, or motorcyle, or moped, or hell, if he's desperate he'll give your bicycle a tune-up. he gives any mechanic in their general, or not so general, radius of townships a run for his money. lastly, pogue can become rather possessive with anyone he's dating and can get very jealous at times. in fact, he often develops anger issues.
WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS?
obviously, he has some, pretty great in most opinions, skill in the line of mechanic work. he has both good hygiene and organizational practices. for the greater majority of his studies, he has a decent work ethic in academics. pogue also tries his best to keep away from unhealthy activities. such as, doing any kind of drugs, eating things that are less than good for him, and when he does partake in drinking alcohol, he does so very sparingly. and, he has a good sense of loyalty and respect to those who deserve such.
WHAT ARE YOUR FLAWS?
his tendency to get a hot temper with people, especially in public places doesn't usually benefit in his favor. he sometimes lets himself become too trusting of and/or with the person his romantic interest so happens to be, and his issues with trusting newer people that he surrounds himself with. it isn't necessarily a flaw, but pogue has a habit of being more of a giver than a reciever, therefore he cheats himself out of things that he knows he wants. that also sort of applies to his not believing that he could do a whole lot more than what he actually aspires to. he loves what he does, swim team, becoming a mechanic, and most everything, but he has the capability and the knowledge to put to use and do so much more, which is usually what his parents drill into his head.
WHAT ARE YOUR TURN ONS?
although pogue loves the romantic way of pleasuring a girl, you know, being a gentleman and seeing to her needs as well as his own and taking the time to focus on every little thing she likes, he also likes it when a girl has the capability of taking control and driving him crazy with whatever she's willing to do to him. certain extents of aggressive passion are good qualities in his book too. also, pogue considers himself pretty open to trying new things, not things out of his realm of sexual preference or anything like that, but he likes a little sense of adventure and mystery in his partner. coincidentally, he has found out that he likes the sensation of a small amount of pain, nothing serious or dangerous, but a little biting and scratching really get him going. with his partner's personality, he doesn't have that any specifics; he just likes a girl who's at least somewhat intellectual and well-rounded, not too mentally secluded from everything the world has to offer. he loves a person with a good sense of maturity, responsibility, and sensuality all rolled into one.
WHAT ARE YOUR TURN OFFS?
when it comes to a girl's looks, he tends to prefer the paler, more unusual looks. not so much to say that the girl looks odd or anything, he just doesn't like the typical girl, he finds more rare looks more attractive. he feels that there are so many people that look exactly the same and he just finds that oh-so-boring. also, he has subconsciously developed a certain predilection to darker coloured hair on a girl, especially redheads. he doesn't like a quality of promiscuity in his partner. he doesn't dislike the fact that that would make them experienced and therefore more adventurous in bed, he just dislikes the idea that the person he's with has had so much more experience that he doesn't believe that they would be satisfied just staying with him and only him. and he cannot tolerate being in a relationship in which he feels the other person is unhappy and/or feeling as though they need to seek out certain needs with another person.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR HAIR.
in the warmer and brighter seasons, pogue's hair is a dusty shade of dark blonde, but throughout the rest of the year when there is not as much sun to lighten his hair, it is almost a medium nut-brown colour. he's never actually had his hair colour changed via damaging, and pointless in his opinion, chemicals though. its length normally reaches just the brim of his shoulders and isn't often styled in any certain way, it just lays smoothly out of his way.
WHAT ABOUT YOUR EYES?
pogue's narrowly shaped eyes are a constant shade of emerald green. occaisonally, when his mood or emotions change drastically and suddenly, they will shift to a slightly darker, jade or kelly-green, which sometimes looks a bit brown to most people.
WHAT IS YOUR BODY TYPE?
pogue has a tall figure of six foot tall and a hundred and ninety-seven pounds. his lower half, his legs and his calves, are relatively strong, not to mention his middle which includes his drastically defined hip bones. his upper body is incredibly muscular, but not in a creepy body builder sort of way. he has always done his very best to keep himself physically fit; his being on the swim team, his need to have a work out regimen, and his semi-healthy diet are all what keep him the way he would like his body to always be.
WHAT IS YOUR CLOTHING STYLE?
pogue typically wears the generic pairs of blue jeans, no specific brand name or anything, solid-coloured tees, belts, and any of his motorcycle jackets. he also has a couple of plaid button-downs and, if need be, can look pretty dapper in a fancy suit. he would much prefer to be caught in a plain wife-beater, though. he is much for accessories of any kind, but he does wear some leather bands or a simple string around his neck every now and again.
YOUR DISTINGUISHING FEATURES ARE?
his vivid green eyes, his prominent lips, and his long hair, which attributes to his face's shape and makes him look more interesting than your every day average guy. his impeccably toned torso, and the one and only piercing he has, or will have, in a not-so-visible bodily place. that is, when he actually keeps his shirt on.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
assuming he ever finds himself able to build the business he wants, pogue will probably still be making his living as the proud owner and primary mechanic of the yellow robot, his garage. he has set certain goals for himself, more for his mental well-being, but nonetheless. he won't be happy unless he's completely stable, financially and emotionally. and while it has never bothered his father to give him a fair share of money, pogue has never necessarily liked the fact that he felt dependant upon his family's wealth, so he would like to be able to say that everything he has for himself in the future will all have been thanks to his own doing and his own hard work and responsibility. also, he predicts that he will have another very important part of his life accompanying him throughout his endeavors. it is highly unlikely that he wouldn't be able to find himself a girl to have a serious relationship with, but he also wants to know that it's the real thing. it's going to be the one that lasts and she'll be the one thing in his life that won't ever dissapoint him, no matter what the situation.

currently pogue has been getting by with the money his father's wealth bequeaths him, but he also does some mechanic work on the side for those who ask it of him.
