WHAT DO YOU ENJOY?
Art and design (especially in the form of tattoos), eye make up (the smokey/mysterious look that so few actually manage to achieve), grape flavored candy, root beer floats (nothing wrong with a little root bear and ice cream mixed), fast cars and motorcycles, tight clothes, loud music, the color red, pin up girls (they are each sexy in their own way), guys on bikes (the kind with a motor, if you please), photography (portraits preferably but landscapes will do in a pinch), the smell of bubble gum and peppermint...together, miniature scales of everyday things, leather, alcohol, Audrey Hepburn, Betty Page, old movies (the black and white kind), and fingernail polish (mostly red and black). WHAT DO YOU NOT ENJOY?
The sound of a ticking clock (that incessant tick would drive anyone crazy), feeling pressured to do something (she liked to do things on her timeline), obnoxious drunks, days with all sunshine and no clouds, getting wet while wearing clothes (that too tight feeling of the clothes sticking to her whole body), porcelain, the smell of coffee, freshly cut grass (its so heady and thick and aggravates her allergies), yellow flowers (too cheery), cafeterias, waiting in line, pink electronics (i.e. cell phones, mp3 players, laptop or games systems), being forced to drive slow because of of slower drivers in front that she can't pass, and formal jackets. The shirt and the tie work fine, but the jacket just pisses her off.
WHAT DO YOU FEAR MOST?
Mass murders, subways (though growing up in New York they were unavoidable at times), going into a coma, cat scratches (cause cats are viscous), being accused of being normal and salad. Or anything green and leafy, for that matter.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS IN LIFE?
Just to get through life without many major catastrophes, really. Find someone that can reign in her exuberance and force her to settle down.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUIRKS?
She draws on almost any surface when inspiration strikes, but tends to be more reasonable about it than her protégé, Jesse. She tries not to destroy the surfaces when she draws, out of respect for the item itself. She also chews her bottom lip to distract herself and compulsively plays with the ends of her hair. She picks dust off of clothing, like her life depends on it, with no regard to who she's doing it to or if they're likely to kill her for it.
WHAT ARE YOUR HABITS?
She hums to herself when she's distracted or scared and tends to shift her weight from one foot to the other if she is forced to stand still for more than a few seconds. She purses her lips to one side as she thinks about what she's going to say and touches her face constantly because she had a fear as a child that it was going to fall off. She twirls the ends of her hair around her fingers when she gets nervous.
WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS?
When given the chance she can be an amazing friend and has lying down to a fine art, though one that is only used in the most extreme of circumstances. She prefers in most instances to be honest whether it hurts the other persons feelings or not. She can fight well enough to protect herself and others, something her brother took pride in teaching her, and growing up in Soho, she's developed a great sense of survival and direction. She doesn't mind having to walk when the need arises and prefers it when traffic is terribly congested.
WHAT ARE YOUR FLAWS?
She is at times a bit too confident and can come across as being vein, no matter what her intentions are. It's not that she truly cares what others think she is just confident in her looks and talent that she feels the need to tell others. She also has an abrasive personality and is very, very slow to trust. Many around see her as a spitfire, someone that isn't afraid to tangle with you if they have too.
WHAT ARE YOUR TURN ONS?
Curly hair, the color black, tattoos (of course but more than one, and definantly not the standard tribal), guys who can sing well, rock music, vintage tee shirts (because they are all totally hot), comic books, latex, the smell of leather, white teeth, pale skin, dark eyes, eye makeup, full lips, a mix of musk and woodsy, and oddly enough sour candy.
WHAT ARE YOUR TURN OFFS?
Rap clothing, shirts that are so baggy you could fit five of yourselves in them (really people learn to dress your size), facial hair, blond hair on guys or girls poor sportsmanship, people who won't admit it when they're wrong, and people who repeat what they've said out loud once again, but in their head. And you if you think she won't know that your doing it, you're wrong. She always knows.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR HAIR.
Long, stopping somewhere around the middle of her back. It's a smoky black almost mistaken for onyx, with honey brown highlights and has a massive amount of layers all of different lengths. Sometimes it's straight, but naturally just a little curly and very full though depending on her mood is how she wears it.
WHAT ABOUT YOUR EYES?
Her eyes are big, but not freakishly so, and virtually symmetrical. They're reminiscent of the black and white movie era and she takes pride in that. They tend to be a light honey brown when she is being warm and inviting or as frozen as solid amber when her emotions show. It's hard to see more than two emotions in her eyes but if you look just right you can read quite a bit about her from those orbs.
WHAT IS YOUR BODY TYPE?
She's extremely voluptuous, with curves that would shame a mountain. She has full hips perfect for childbearing and a decent bust that isn't massive, but definantly noticeable. Standing at five foot six, she's just slightly taller than average and thin around the waist. She embodies the perfect shape of an hourglass and is proud of that knowledge.
WHAT IS YOUR CLOTHING STYLE?
She tends to bounce between fifties style clothing and rocker chick. No matter what she wears, it tends to show off quite a bit of skin, and is eclectic at best. She refuses to be defined in one true genre because of her clothing and wears what she likes. She knows where her assets are and lets her clothing do the flaunting.
YOUR DISTINGUISHING FEATURES ARE?
Her most noticeable feature would easily be her hundreds of tattoos, but there's more beyond that. She has pale skin, virtually flawless, and full, pouty lips though if you look close you can see tiny marks left by her teeth when she bites them. Her eyes are large and can draw you in with their intensity. She has a striking face and an enticing silhouette. When she smiles it can light up the room and her laughter, though rare, draws people in.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
Somewhere majestic, like at the base of a mountain, with some sexy partner and maybe a few mini Claire's running around. Being able to confidently say that she owns and operates a successful tattoo business with chains across the states.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PAST!
Claire grew up in Soho with her French-American father, American mother, and older brother. Her parents earned small, unreliable livings from the few jobs they got as artists and the meager wages they brought in from various part-time jobs. Both proud of the work they did because it allowed them to provide for their two children.

Nevertheless, Claire and Adrian rarely wanted for food, and always had a place to call home in the form of a small apartment in a dilapidated building off the corner of Delancey and Eldridge Street. As she got older, Claire began wandering around on her own, fascinated by the work of struggling artists. Her curiosity and eagerness to learn allowed her to decide at a young age that she truly wanted to be an artist.

When she finished high school, having taken all the art classes that Washington Irving High School offered, School was a struggle, something she wished at times she could have done without. Claire rushed off to college to major in art and design. She was happy with her choice of majors, feeling like she would be able to make her mark in the world.

It was during the very beginning of her freshman year that she discovered the beauty of living artwork. On a dare, she started the first of what was to be a massive collection of tattoos. North Star Tattoo branded a flower of her own design on her upper arm and immediately she was hooked. Ink and graphite fades, but on her body, the world could see what she had to offer. She spent a few months drawing up her own unique sketches and selling them to North Star Tattoo to use making a small commission on each one.

In the next year Claire dropped out of college and began flitting from tattoo shop to tattoo shop, working as an artist (under a false reference from various made up businesses) and it was at one of these that she met a certain Jesse Churchill and the pair devised a plan. Together they would find a way to go into business for themselves. Claire knew that if she didn't go along with this plot then she would regret it for the rest of her life.

Taking on a job at Alex and Andrew's shop, Claire spent every afternoon of Jesse's part-time apprenticeship listening to stories about how one day Jesse would return to a place called Ipswich Massachusetts and open her own tattoo shop. As their friendship grew to larger and larger heights, the more certain Claire became that she wanted to continue working with this vibrant albeit ambitious woman.

When the opportunity presented itself and Fire and Ice had been bought and built, Claire set off behind Jesse in her old beetle to the small town that seemed to hold so much fascination for her best friend. It was so different from Soho, yet alike in so many ways. She wondered albeit briefly if Ipswich would be the place to which she could finally settle down.

And if she could start carving her path to skin art fame there, well... all the better. She could already see the reasons why the quaint little town had so much appeal for Jesse and she only hoped that she wouldn't be viewed as an outside for too long.
