I would like to suggest/request that the off-topic forum that has been created be discontinued right away. Two things above all drag down my experience on the TriKing games forums: spambots and off-topic posts. Htting "View New Posts" and getting a bunch of advertisements and off-topic nonsense make me not want to visit very often, whereas I used to refresh the forums several times an hour. Let's not go down that road here ... whaddaya say?

I'll wait to see other people's opinions before giving my vote.

I understand that it can be distracting and a burden in some cases, but I'm sure that a lot of people appreciate a place to bring up topics that don't relate to Anachronism. Odds are, if we delete that forum, such topics would instead show up in the General Discussion forum instead. I don't know if deleting it will be much of a help.

Again, I'm more interested in what other people have to say than what I have to say, so I want to here everyone's opinion on the matter.

I agree 100% with Chris on this one. The purpose of this forum after all is to discuss Anachronism; this (in theory) is going to be a forum for the most dedicated players thereof. Let's leave off topic posts in the TKG forums.

I'm not sure that the Off-topic here would end up like the one over there, but I can see where the concern comes from. I guess if we all still visited the TKG forums, we could get by without a Off-topic here, but on some things I would like to have one here since I can get important opinions from people who are not complete morons. Also, if we had a Off-topic here, it would be different than the TKG one, as we would only have quality posts and would not have to go fishing through all of the useless crap over there.

Ok so i have an idea. Im going to pin a sign up list in General Discussion any one who does not want an off tipic forum can post there and I will cange your settings so that you wont be able to see it. That way those who want it have it and those who dont wont even ave to know its there. the thread will be up this afternoon im at work and dont want to push my luck screwin around too much. :ph43r:
