Title: Yggdrasil

kanderfirestorm - April 3, 2007 02:40 PM (GMT)
Yggdrasil (wood)
Norse * Inspiration * Mystic
Asgard: All of your attacks deal +1 damage.
Hvergelmir: All other warrior gain +1 speed.

So what is everyones general impression of this card?

Giving your opponent +1 speed is generally a bad thing. I kind of see this card being used in one of two ways. (1) In a deck that kills the opponent so fast that the +1 speed has no affect or (2) in a deck that manipulates the +1 speed into a negative affect for the opponent.

Since I am an tend to be an aggressive player, I see this being a replacement for Rokumonsenmon in an agro deck such as:

Zhang Jiao
Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka
Yggdrasil

Other thoughts, ideas or uses?

Edit: I thought I was posting in the Decks & Strategy section. Sorry.

This card is teh hawtsauce. Basically, all of the cards that give all of your attacks a damage bonus have some sort of drawback, and this is one has one of the least painful drawback IMO. Maybe it will actually make me wanna play Hernan Cortez.

Well, watch out for Magiko Votani.

But can't that be said about any aggro strategy these days?

Cheers.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw this card ...

Also, it can be pretty good in multiplayer format :)

I'm not too impressed with Yggdrasil...

It's OK but there are other inspirations... ;)

I used to play a deck like that. try using Crude wittled spear to get an other free attack when you rev a wood insp.
