After trying a deck with this card, I am seriously wondering what the game designers were thinking when they made this card. The deck I tried:
Genghis Khan
Hjelm
Hilia Plia
Lady of the Lake
Cetatea Poenari

I lost horribly. Anyone know any good decks with this card in it?

i thought that you can't use lady of the lake here?
1. hilia pila will not be in play
2. lady of the lakes reveal ability will never trigger because it was not the card that was used for determining initiative

am i incorrectly interpreting the rules?

Most success I've found with it is with cards that allow the dice rolls to be manipulated.
