that sounds about right, which site did this used to be? I'm thinking one of the many HH forums that popped up after the BL books came out.

Hello all.
I have been playing one GW game or another since 1992. I started out with epic (easier to get a whole army going when they only 6mm wink.gif ). From there I started into 40k 2nd ed collecting space pups. When 2nd ed SH came out some of my buds said to try it and i loved the game boards and the game play. N ow i know what the majority of you are thinking, 2nd SH was lame compared to he complexity of 1st ed. The good part of it was that for beginers it was ideal, no confusing rules, no extra figs to buy(which is a plus when trying to get a new buddy to try the game biggrin.gif). After that i really started looking for all the official and homebrew SH stuff that i could find. I love to play this game, but don't get to very often as there no gaming clubs within 75 miles of me. I doubt that i'll manage to get the 3rd ed. I'm really thinking about making a 3D board set done up like all the boards i have. This site allows me to share my passion for the game with fellow SH fanatics, for that i thank you!

Greetings Brother Marines,

Paul in Canberra reporting in, honoured by my membership number 200, ready to cleanse the xenos scum. My battle bretheren and I have been campaigning on one Hulk or another since the first edition incursions. Many of our worthy brothers have fallen and are with the Emperor - they will be remembered. Many foes have fallen to our righteous fury in His name. We know not failure.

I am pleased to report that this latest campaign has allowed me to inititate some of the newest warriors of the Chapter. They bring Honour with their willingness to engage the enemy.

Our Chaplain records the heroic deeds of our Company in the logs stored here: http://tasmancave.blogspot.com/

We are Honoured to join with you.
Ready thy weapons and begin the Litanies of Hate.

Hi Guys

My name is Asger, and I have been playing GW games for something like 15 years. Warhammer was my first love, but I secured a copy of Space hulk 1st ed. I never played 2nd ed because of that.

Recently I got married, and while my wife understands GW games, she cannot really comprehend the complex rules for the two "big" games. We play a lot of board games together, and that made me think that Space hulk could be a good way for her to be part of my hobby. I managed to get an unopened copy last week, a small bookstore in a small town in my country had one copy left and a local was kind enough to send it to me.

I very much enjoy the rules Doghouse made for power armoured marines, and that is basically the reason for me to register on this forum. Still, I have not tried the rules yet, we are still working our way though the mission book.
