Cobalt Site Help, Want to help out around the site?

Hey. Making the site is a ton of work so I would appreciate some help.

I need help in the following things:

A Pokedex. You can use other sites like Serebii and Psypoke. I need the Dex Entries and the main info (Jap name, Eng name, size, # (in all dexes), type, and species.)


Guides:
A R/B/Y
A G/S/C
A FR/LG
A R/S/E
A P/D
A Mystery Dungeon

You basically need to make a walkthrough for them. After that we can make side guides.

I'll post back with more later. Post here if you're willing to help, and don't worry full credit will be given.

I can make the guides, but why do we need ones for R/B/Y and G/S/C? .....why do we need any of them?

Well, since it's a community forum, it'll be good to have guides and stuff on the site. We need R/B/Y and G/S/C because some people still play them. (Like me. )

EDIT: And SD? Do you think you can get screenshots? If not then I can download the ROMS and get screenshots from there.

I'll do the Emerald guide when I get a chance. If anyone get get screenshots of their game, do you think you can make your names Cobalt? That is if you are going to start a new game to make the guide easier. I would appreciate it if people named the Trainers they battle and their Pokemon and money received (w/o Amulet Coin). But you don't have to do this. Remember, we're starting out with just walkthroughs. Then we'll add other minor guides.

DP, I know. But anyway, for PokeZam I have been instructed to do updates for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 and a Walkthrough for Mystery Dungeon 1. Then I'm re-writing their Emerald Walkthrough.


So just lay-off Emerald, unless you want to do the Basic Changes, Battle Frontier, or Legendary and Special Pokemon.

But I know that Deathseeker is working on the Legendary and Special Pokemon.


So I suggest people start on P/D then go to FR/LG, and then R/S. But choose what you want.

For screenshots, I suggest you play the ROM but if you don't want to, just leave the screenshots to me or Death.

I can't really do ROM on my computer, but besides screenshots, I can do it. But before I spend hours on this, let me ask, What all information is needed? (trainers and pokemon, side tasks, ect.)

Well, I would prefer that you included all the Pokemon trainers, their Pokemon and levels, and amount of money recieved after battle (w/o amulet coin).

For now, just make the main Walkthrough. Only put things that are necessary for the completion of the game. Then we can add the side quests.

Don't worry about screenshots. Death or I'll download the ROMS. And what game are you going to do?

Ill do the second generation.(Seeing they're the best) On a side note, I may also do a trainer card guide.

Also to do a walkthrough, where I feel comfortable Ill to do it derictly to the coding. Its just the way I am. So ill need your layout code.

Also I use HTML coding for charts and stuff, which is good for a guide

Put those at the bottom and top of your coding, respectively. And make sure to save it as .php Otherwise it won't work.

The basic font we've been using is Arial, but feel free to venture off.
