First Floor
The first floor of the school building is given over mostly to administrative functions, though there are a few classrooms. It is spaciously layed out, with wide hallways and a large foyer.

Second Floor
The second floor of the building is generally not shown to guests and contains mostly classrooms. The hallways are smaller and the layout more linear than the first floor.

Third Floor
The third floor is comprised entirely of classrooms and can feel cramped. It has the most confusing layout of all the floors, as it was magically expanded to add classrooms and the additions were placed seemingly at random.

Towers
The towers are neither actual towers nor a consolidated fourth floor, but rather extra levels added to the ends of both wings and the central wing of the building. They are shorter than the rest of the floors and generally ignored except for the two classrooms.

Dorms
The various dorms are all very similar to each other, differing only when the students themselves personalize them.

Grounds
The grounds at Coats are not terribly expansive, but are kept neat at all times. There is a large, ornate gate which leads to Arcady in front of the school building and the only place where one can be out of sight of the building is the peninsula.
