While he has reached middle age, Miller has by no means peaked. Regular workouts aimed to inspire the rest of the station have left him very much in shape. His hair is beginning to gray, as is his meticulously kept goatee, and lines have started to carve their way into his face from stress.

Personality:
chief Miller is, at heart, a family man. Protective and loving, he attempts to keep his children safe. This instinct has been extended to the entire city, giving him a personal interest in clearing up crime and putting bad guys - super powered or not, behind bars.

In spite of a life time career in the service and on the force, Miller has maintained an optimistic outlook on life. A firm believer in rehabilitation and giving people the tools they need to save themselves, Miller has become one of the foremost recruiters of Claremont Academy. He knows that all bad men have had turning points in his life, and he has made a goal of trying to find so called 'bad seeds' and turn them around in their youth.


Bio:
Jacob Miller was the only child of a career service man and his liaison with a waitress. Miller's mother died in childbirth, and his father, a member of the marines, was notified. Taking responsibility, his father took custody of Miller, and with the help of an aunt, they created a loving household for the boy.

Miller grew up wanting to be a part of the military life, and excelled in sports. learning from his father that compassion was the greatest attribute a man could have, he didn't let his burgeoning size turn him into a bully. Entering a prestigious military academy, Miller graduated at the top of his class, and enlisted in the marines.

Shortly after enlisting, Miller gave a speech on patriotism at a local Jr High, and spotted Lillian Nicolai. He was in love with the underage girl, but obviously wouldn't act upon it for legal reasons. She had fallen for him just as hard. He tried his best to forget about her, throwing himself into his career, but soon they were in contact via letters and occasional meetings where nothing but friendship was allowed to blossom.

After 4 years in the service, Miller decided a military career was not what he wanted. With is father's blessing, he entered the Police Force and began working his way upwards. Soon, Lillian turned 18. Unable to deny their attraction now the legalities were out of the way, Miller and Lillian married a few weeks later in a private ceremony held by the Justice of the Peace.

Miller concentrated on his work, and Lillian on school but soon they were informed that she was pregnant. Throwing himself into the family life with the same vigor he did everything else, Lillian and Miller created a happy home for their 5 children, even as Lillian graduated school as a rising star in the science world.

Their lives would have been normal, but for the gifts of their only daughter, Nadia. After realizing that she was one of the Supers everyone spoke of, he reluctantly allowed her to help on cases. He quickly became aware of just how much Supers were able to help and became an advocate of rights for Supers, and helped to create some ingenious defenses against those who used their powers for evil.

Unfortunately, Miller is now facing a new horror- his little girl has reached her teens, and he now has the challenge of teenaged boys to contend with.
