Hello and Welcome to Celestial Refresh Role-Play, or CRRP for short. This is a forum dedicated to role-playing centered around video game and computer game characters and their worlds. If you choose to register with us, you will be taking on the personality of a video or computer game character of your choice (provided they are not already taken) and will be interacting as them in the multiverse, which is a collection of several video and computer game universes that have become connected by a still-unknown force. Considering these strange connections, characters from one universe are now able to travel to other universes and worlds, and interact with those from these foreign lands.

This is a role-playing forum, which means that your primary mode of enjoyment here will be role-playing. It is also a number-based game, which means that combat and other interactions will be based upon a traditional RPG experience and stat system. The key to getting the most out of your time in the multiverse is finding the happy medium between role-playing and participating in the gaming elements of the forum, and allowing the latter to serve the former.

Now that you know a bit about what you're getting yourself into, it's time to explain how you actually get to play.

As stated earlier, you will register with your username being the name of the character you wish to play as, provided that they are not already taken (take a quick look at the members list to ensure your character choice is not taken). Once you do that, you should take a look at the rules and then create a topic in the Introductions Forum with a filled-out RP Introduction Form. Keep in mind, you may receive input and feedback from staff members to better complete your form before you get your stats. Once you do get your starting stats, it's time to hit the rift, which is the only area you'll be able to see initially!

The Rift is an area for new members to get acquainted with our systems. In relation to the multiverse, it exists outside of it, but not completely. You can think of it as a limbo universe between normal space and the multiverse. While in the rift, you will only be able to roleplay with full members in the Multiverse Mall and Sea of Moondust. You will create a quest there in one of the worlds of your choosing, and after a little while, a staff member will take up your quest and help you through it. Don't get intimidated - the whole point of the rift is to get used to the rules, so don't feel overwhelmed if it takes you awhile to get the ropes. Never hesitate to ask the staff member running your quest for help!

Once you finish your rift quest, your character will be transported into the multiverse proper, and you will be promoted to full member. From there, you can start your adventures and start role-playing with other members.
