Sion knew going downward would be moving backwards, or at least that was the feeling he had obtained. He wanted to move upwards, but something told him not to, at least yet. Then, something caught his attention, just it was j sut out of sight and off to the side. Sion began to focus upon this, while wondering what Roxas was doing here. Sion forsoke both stairwells, and decided to investigate the something from earlier.
Sion, are you sure this is wise? "It's the best chance I have Nixos, I have to know the torment of this room." The bouncer rushed towards the something, getting the strange feeling he'd never figure it out. Hopefully he wouldn't get lost in this empty room, and hopefully he'd be able to return to the stairwells later. For now, he had to see with his own eyes, what seemed to be out of sight. -------------------- |

As Sion moved around both stairwells and toward the unknown, the two other paths receded out of sight, and faded away behind him. Light screams of his own voice above, and Nixos below, could be heard until they were only a whisper.
Suddenly, white and black intermingled around the bouncer as he walked through what seemed like an empty abyss, and before long, he was surrounded by gray. It wasn't the alienating, dull gray of indecision and inner conflict, however. It was the cool, welcoming twilight of... "...peace." The voice echoed out all around Sion. As it resonated throughout the expanse, it became more and more like his own. Soon enough, Sion began to see a mirror off in the distance, shimmering and with a small trinket hanging about it. -------------------- |

Peace? Nixos' voiced echoed curiously within Sion, and it almost seemed to mirror Sion instead of being his own tone.
Perhaps this was all we needed to complete our reunion. Sion's voice was just as curious as Nixos', though it didn't lack any confidence in the situation. As the white and black around them began to merge into the calming gray, Sion didn't feel a single bit of dread or depression consume him like one might assume would be associated with the color gray. He headed over towards the mirror, find it the least bit amusing. However, the thing that caught his attention was the trinket hanging off the mirror. He approached it, slowly reaching out for it, taking it in his hand and bringing it closer. "I wonder what this trinket is for?" His voice was full of wonder, having a feeling he already knew what this trinket was for. As if acting upon instinct, Sion reached into his pocket, pulling out the trinket from earlier. Examining it closely, Sion put them both in a single hand, and used his free hand to begin tinkering with them. He wanted to see if they fit together or anything, and just worked at it. Something told him these two pieces belonged together, but he didn't want to push it, he didn't want to risk breaking one of the two pieces. Stopping with the tinkering, Sion paused for a moment, simply staring into the mirror as if expecting to find the answer. -------------------- |

In the mirror, Sion saw himself. Or, to be more precise, he saw a new version of himself. He possessed all of his own facial features, but his eyes were slightly darker, and he had blond highlights in his hair, almost seamlessly transitioning from his normal hair color. His hoodie now had long, black sleeves, and the pulleys were reminiscent of an organization coat. In his hand was a completed trinket, and if he were to look at his actual self now as opposed to the reflection, all that he observed would be reality.
The pendant now within his grasp was a yin-yang one - on one half was the black portion, a small figurine of Drizzt's panther rising out of it, and the other sported a white tiger. Together, they gave off a faint gleam of twilight energy, and if he were to look up at the mirror again, Sion would see the Tower of Twilight. -------------------- |

Sion just stared into the mirror, finding himself slightly approving of his changes. Though he didn't notice them in reality immediately, he longed for that to be how he appeared. He felt it suited the new him, the complete Sion, the being that encompassed both Sion and Nixos. He would not adopt a new name, but he would stick with Sion. Though he felt like an entirely different man, he knew he was still Sion in his core.
"So, my time here has truly changed me?" His voice was curious, and he tore his eyes from the mirror to examine himself. Surely enough, the image he had seen revealed the truth. His brown hair now held blond highlights, his hoodie's sleeves now going all the way down to his wrists. His hoodie had even adopted the silver pulley's of his Organization cloak, and a strange approval drowned his body. He simply stared at the trinket, noticing Drizzt's panther Guenhwyvar, though something seemed odd to him. The white tiger on the other side was different, and it was pictured younger, almost as if it had just gotten into it's years od being a cub. "What......is this for?" His voice was strange, a tone of curiosity in the air. He turned to the mirror, noticing the Tower of Twilight, and decided it was time to leave. -------------------- |

With a faint shimmer, the miniature Guenhwyvar faded from view, and changed into a noble, yet fierce-looking black dragon. The mirror before him flashed in unison with this, and revealed the courtyard of the Tower of Twilight. He was now free to return to the multiverse.

Sion looked down at the pendant, slightly disappointed when he noticed Guenhwyvar disappearing. Suddenly, it was replaced with a noble yet fierce black dragon, and the disappointment vanished from Sion's expression. He was proud of this pendant, and simply held onto it, forging it into a mock necklace around the tassels of his new hoodie. With a faint bit of acknowledgement upon his face, Sion knew it was time to return home, though he lingered for awhile. He was tempted to remove the Netherrealm Amulet and leave it behind, yet he knew he would be wise to hold onto it and return again at a later date.
For now, we will take this gained knowledge and return home. With it, I believe we can finally accomplish what we were meant to, not the destruction we brought upon this Multiverse. Giving the Neterrealm one more look, Sion sighed and closed his eyes. With a sudden breath of air, Sion began his approach forward. Opening his eyes right as he passed through the mirror, a faint bit of hope grew within him, a feeling of ease overcoming him. Something told him things would change, and that happiness would await him back in Tower. Though he wasn't sure where he would go now, Sion knew one thing for certain, he and Nixos were no longer seperate beings. -------------------- |

And, with that, the bouncer moved beyond the icy grip of death and oblivion, and felt himself rejoin the land of the living, and the hopeful.
[Pendant of the Redeemed Spirit]: A twilight-infused charm which unifies Nixos' Hateful Turmoil of the Past with Sion's desire to move forward toward Real Redemption. Fragments of his keychains can be seen in its reflection. The eyes of the white tiger and black dragon upon the pendant seem to glimmer in the light and darkness respectively. At the cost of 2 EP, the possessor of this pendant can add 6 dark or 6 light damage to any attack. [Fin.] -------------------- |
