Where am I?

[Lucas]

It was a very silent day in the Donut Plains and everything seemed calm with the exception of a young boy lying asleep on the grass. The bright sun's rays were shining upon him and slowly, he woke up and sat up. Rubbing his tired eyes, he thought,"Was that a dream or a nightmare?" He stopped for a moment before getting up. "Where am I?" he thought. "This..isn't Nowhere Islands. What is this place?" Confused, he looked both ways and sadly sighed. "Well..I guess I have no choice, but to explore" he thought. And so, he walks off to find a clue to where he is at. As he did, he encountered some Koopas on the way and asked with curiousity,"Do you know what is this place?"

Lucas encountered a trio of Koopa. Their skin was yellowed and their shells were a highly polished green. Although bipedal, none in the group seemed to register that Lucas had spoken to them at first. What they saw was a short male who was dressed, if only a little, in red. The Koopa continued to shuffle toward the PSI-user as a result, expressions remaining carefully blasé.

[Now, let's see if we can't run you through all of this nice and quickly, as an apology for lagging on picking this up.]

Lucas stepped back and thought,"I guess they don't want to talk to me.." He only had a chance to continue. But that would mean, he would take out his stick and whacking them aside, to continue on, which he dislikes harming any animals especially some Koopas.

[I'm a little unclear about what went on in your post, if anything, and am going to assume for now that Lucas was thinking hypothetically.]

He also had the option to simply walk around the creatures, as the yellowed path he had wandered on to was wide enough to accommodate such an action. If Lucas did not want to try and communicate with the approaching Koopa, there was a large, green pipe ahead. It sloped upwards, so that gaining the top of it would give Lucas a good view of his surrounds.

Lucas looked at the green pipe and decided to go inside it. Once he reach the top, he had a better view of the Donut Plains. "Oh wow. It's really big," he thought as he looked around. "So many valleys.." As he was looking, he then spotted a castle nearby from where he was standing over a big forest nearby. "Hmm? A castle? I wonder who could be there.." he thought.

[When you're questing, the only thing you have direct control over is yourself. The environment, setting and other characters in it are all in the hands of the mod.]

If Lucas looked downward, he would notice that after the top of the pipe was a precipice probably just too wide to jump alone. Bobbing up and down in the middle of it was a turtle-creature, similar to the ones from earlier. This one had a red shell and was able to float by using his wings, though, forming one subtle and one obvious advantage over the green Koopa.
