The main goal is to let people have fun without the BBS politics' corruption.

I will most likely not have to ban any members, but in case, these are the rules:

§ 1. Do NOT post porn or any "questionable" material without proper warning in the thread's title.

For example:
"Never thought I'd find these pictures on my dad's computer NSFW".

§ 2. Hateful or racist remarks are NOT allowed, nor are "clever" codes/similarities for the words. Over-use of the word "gay" or any other homosexual put down is also prohibited (unless it's CLEARLY a joke).

§ 3. Adding any malicious hidden links (i.e., URL's that are hidden and go to a site which floods you with nonstop popup's and/or NWS material) is not allowed.

§ 4. Stay out of people's personal lives. Don't deface pictures of users.

Harassment is clearly FORBIDDEN.

§ 5. Do not repeatedly advertise! If no-one seems intrested, you'll make yourself look like a fool.

§ 6. Discussion of piracy is NOT allowed.

§ 7. Picture spamming can get on our nerves VERY quickly. Please refrain from posting the same picture over and over. If you like it so much, put it into your BBS signature.

§ 8. Sometimes flame wars are fun to watch, but usually it's just annoying. Try to keep fighting to a minimum. Do not follow another user around from thread to thread saying "you suck".

If there are any differences, we will work them out.

§ 9. To attempt circumventing any rule in any way is not allowed.

§ 10. Posting of flashing or strobing gifs are not allowed. Also don't try and be a smarty-marty and try to post something semi-obnoxious.

§ 11. Most people are getting fed up with all-cap posts. Therefore you are not allowed to make those.

§ 12. Impersonating members is prohibited. This means don't create another account and use a capital I instead of a lowercase l or anything like that.

We have a validation process, and each member here is aware of who'll join. If you are trying to be funny through signing up with the person's name your main account will most likely get banned.

§ 13. Do not make random visits to only post annoying remarks. Nobody likes a smartass.

§ 14. Make sure your posts add to the discussion. Don't just go into a topic and post something like "What?" or "I don't care." Try to make your posts longer than one or two words.

§ 15. THE POSTING OF ANOTHER MEMBER'S REAL LIFE INFORMATION IS PROHIBITED. The only person you can post real life information on is yourself. The fact that the information that you post of another party is available elsewhere (such as a whois search) will NOT be accepted as justification for revealing other members' identities, without their consent.

§ 16. Use common sense and behave. We are not intrested to have you here if you start trouble, subtle or not.

§ 17. If you have been given a warning by any of the moderators, you will listen.

§ 18. If you break the rules, you do not stand under the protection of the rules. You will not be given the smooth treatment a respectful person deserves, simply because you are not nice towards others and because you do not deserve to get the respect we otherwise treat eachother with.

§ 19. Spamming is not allowed.

§ 20. If you do have a question about your ban, refer to the ban message and read these rules. We are not intrested to hear your complaints. Contact the people involved via e-mail, PM or any IM program they use, but respect a decision.

These rules shall be followed.

BUT! The moderators and administrators on this forum are not so strict. If you are an asshole and clearly break rules to ruin the fun of others, you will be banned and likely get your account deleted.

As a moderator, you are also supposed to follow these rules and be a role model, not of how to be smart, serious and strict, but of how to have fun, be nice and work good together with others.

If a moderator abuse his/her power, contact an administrator (preferably Andersson).

There are logs of everything each moderator do with their mod powers. So in case of possible abuse, there is information to find to either clear the suspicion, or opposite.
