Does anybody do it? I haven't joined one yet but some of the ideas that people come up with in that place is delightfully entertaining. It's also rather nice that quite a few of them are survival horror rps, which makes my heart thump. <3

Experimentation has lead to many breakthroughs and discoveries. Science is based on forming and testing theories. Of course, there are ethical considerations to be heeded when experimenting on living creatures. At least, there usually are...

Welcome to [info]a_facility. You don't want to be here. It was not a choice. You wake up in an austere white room with a seamless metal band around your neck and no idea how you got here. You're not alone, either. Nobody knows how they got here, but there's no mistaking why.

The Doctor, never seen but ever present via cameras, speakers, and the laptops in every room, watching every experiment he runs, tracking the responses of his subjects. The tests are unavoidable, run every week. When bored, he challenges his "lab rats" to perform for possible rewards.

There is no escape from the tortures that originate in the Doctor's mind. Some are absurd, some are almost amusing, and some are downright horrific. In the end, the "rats" have no choice but to react as they will and provide him with the data he needs, each day hoping to somehow get closer to the exit from their maze.
