As it's Remembrance Sunday the day after the Lincoln game am I right to think that we will be observing a minute's silence before kick-off on Saturday?

I know that it's our 'Armed Forces' day the following week against Vauxhall Motors, but I'd imagine that a silence will be observed at most games taking place this weekend, so I can't see us not doing it too on the basis that we'll be doing the same again the following week.

Would be great to see lots of people wearing poppies and for the silence to be impeccably observed. Somehow, a silence before a game, for whatever reason, can give extra resonance to that roar that follows and which precedes kick-off, not sure why but it can be quite a special moment.

There's a minutes silence on Saturday immediately prior to kick-off.

If they do they can stand by for a huge sh*t-o-gram from not only myself but i imagine a lot of people would be outraged.

I would imagine most of the crowd will be up in arms about it. I don't think they would have seen anything like it.

Of course they wont... People are allowed to wear pin badges aren't they! the bottle top thing is as everyone knows because a full bottle with a lid on makes a pretty weighty missile, a pin doesn't!

It's nothing to do with it being a missile, apparently. It's in case a bottle with a top on is discarded on the floor and someone steps on it & falls.
