All police officers should be armed at all times and operate a shoot to kill policy. That would cut the number of chavs significantly.
That'd get things sorted and that's my contribution. -------------------- "The fans aren't allowed in your changing rooms, so don't go onto their forums."

He's made some interesting points and you don't know what he may have been through with the cops -------------------- "We ought to thank our lucky stars that we have such committed and conscientious people running AFCTU, and when times are tough they should be able to count on our support, not have to read some of the cr*p that gets flung their way on here."

But do you though? I think this runs vey deep, Liam. I'm sorry to hear about what you've been through with the cops. It must be difficult to come to terms with. Chin up! -------------------- "The fans aren't allowed in your changing rooms, so don't go onto their forums."

You want facts? In England and Wales 2007 there were over 10 000 incidents involving guns and over 3000 people were injured during these crimes. The most common gun used was the handgun followed by immitation firearms. It must be extremely difficult for the police to determine within a split second wether the weapon pointed at them is real or fake! Shotguns accounted for 640 incidents with assault rifles making up 60. In London in September 2009 there were 300 incidents of gun crime.

And at how many of these incidents were cops present when guns were brandished? you have told us that we don't know about the power of the weapons pointed at cops? So how many times were guns pointed at cops? I heard some top cop say on wednesday that the normal thing armed criminals have done when his unarmed officers arrive on the scene is leg it sharpish, often abandoning the firearm in the process. He said that he fears that if the criminals suspect his cops may be armed, they are more likely to shoot out of fear of being shot theirselves. But I have to go back to what I have said from the outset here. If drugs weren't criminalised, criminals wouldn't be running around ruining areas of our towns and cities and shooting at people to maintain their power and profit. They wouldn't be making massive amounts of money to pump into their other criminal activities. Look at Columbia. An entire nation ruined, narco terrorists are more powerful than the countries government. Look at Afghanistan where narco terrorists hit us with the double whammy of sending heroin to the streets of the west, causing the huge social problems we're talking about and then using the profit to fund their side of the war.
