As of late, I've been giving other folks on SSBB my MSN contact info. I tend to keep it private for a few reasons.

One of which is because I detest being sent virus-laden files.

Now, normally I would just block the person who has the virus until I run into them on SSBB or another BYOND game, but whenever it's another admin on said game, it's pretty annoying to say the least, especially when before they needed to talk with me over MSN.

So I'm going to lay it out clear now.

USE A DAMNED VIRUS SCANNER. Don't download suspicious files. Don't go on sites to get cracks for games because they're nigh-guaranteed to contain viruses.

Don't have a virus scanner? Google's your friend, it can help you find a free one. If you're too lazy to google, then at least don't use freaking MSN, it's used far too often in spreading viruses. AIM and YIM are used much less often in that regard from what I have seen.

There is NO EXCUSE for you to ignore protecting your own PC, especially when you have the ability to upload files to a game for everyone to download.
