I created an official Board with everything myspace profile so maybe we can get more random people to start joining. Anyone with a myspace profile feel free to add it to your friends list.

Well, i capitulated and created my own MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/darryl_the_hitman I'm too lazy to put much on it besides my photo yet but I do have a question. How do I get the bit on the page that says No Photo Added to be my photo? I uploaded a pic but it only shows when I click on See More Pics.

I'm not sure how to change the details either.

There should be an option to make it your default pic somewhere in the see more pics folder once you go into that.

I haven't found it yet but I'll keep looking. :) I also don't know how to add a song to the player either. Feel free to add me to the list of people with pages in the first post in this thread too. B)

Wait, sonehow I got it. Apparently I had to click on Add To Ranking. Why it couldn't just say Set Photo As Default is anyone's guess.

Any tips on how to add a song or how to edit my details?

N/m, I found it. When you click on edit profile, you can click one of the little blue phrases to get to different sections. I thought all you could do was edit the stuff that shows on the first page under edit profile..

Hmm, and with that post, I officially became the Wayne Gretzky of this place as he had 2857 points in the NHL. I prefer Mario Lemieux to Gretzky but it's always neat to know who the all-time leading scorer is, I suppose. ^_^

Hmm, so how do I put my height? I'm 5 foot 10 which is 70 inches but what's that in cm? Is it 70 times 2.54?

Not sure how to add music to it as i tried to on mine and failed at it. Anything else like a complete theme or adding pics to your profile i can help with, as i got a bunch of different websites that have stuff for all that.

I see I'm on the overall list so that's good. :) So what's the proper etiquette? Do I send everyone on the list a request asking to be added to their friendlist and hoping they do the same for me or do I wait for them to add me and then add them?

What do I put for school? My elementary school, my high school, the college I went to, or none since I'm not in school anymore?

Most just put there high school they went to and any college they attended. It would then put you into a list of the school you went to along with anyone else on myspace that went there also.

As for friends you can go to their profile and request an add or they will come to your profile and request an add to which you can accept or deny. I already did a request, so you should have it saying that on your page and in your email.

I'll have to check the page as I haven't gotten an e-mail.

As for the music thing, apparently, you have to find a musical act that has a MySpace page, then find a song they have and click on Add. I'm trying it on Weird Al's Page but it's not letting me add any of his songs. Oh well. :)

Ok, I added you. Does it automatically send a request for you to add me to your list or do I have to go to your page and send a request from there?

I skipped T-Dog for some reason; probably because I'm going through the people that post here regularly first. I can't add irvs because you have to know her last name or e-mail address to add her so I'll just go to the next name, I guess. I'm pleased to note that my friendlist just doubled as MC added me. :) I'm also pleased that it seems to be a reciprocal thing. Since MC added me to his friendlist, he shows up on mine. I recall ICQ was two separate procedures, for exmaple.

Ok, I've added all the regular posters (sans Irvs)--now to go back and add the infrequent posters.

I also added the BWE page so I guess SOMEONE *cough*wills*cough* will have to add me from there.

Theres a button somewhere near your friends thing that say "edit my top friends" when you click it it bring up all your friends and you can reorder them however you like. But also, up at the top while your in the screen like that up at the top you will see a little drop down menu that say 8 friends, from there you can change it to show up to 24 friends at once.

If this doesnt make sense at all, just pm me and i will help you further with it NEWBIE :P

I haven't tried. I'm still reading through my daily list. Every time I log on, I check out my favorite sites and read the new stuff and then I work on other things.

I changed it to show my top 24 friend, I believe. I just put all the names in alphabetical order as I figured that was the fairest way to rank them. :)

Ok, if someone has left a comment on my page and I want to answer it, how do I do that? Do I go to their page and leave them a comment or what do I do?

You can do that or any comments left have a reply to poster option on them, but im not sure the reply would be posted on there profile as much as it would just go to them like an email.

Where is the reply to poster option? When I click on "Home" and log in and get to the area where I can edit things, I click on the comments and the only option I can find is "delete this message".

should have an option on your home page to view all comments and then from there their shoud be a reply to poster option.

Ah, I'm trying to not add people unless I actually know them somehow. As cool as it would be to have "Weird Al" on my friendlist, for example, I don't know him at all so I'd feel silly calling him my friend.
