I've seen a poster. What's the diff between Sims3 and the prior versions? (Seriously asking)

We yanked off our uniforms, I looked around humans only. Empty chair! Just one, but it would do.

"May we join you?"

.

"There's only one chair."
"It's okay, we're very good friends." I sat down and yanked Ax down onto my lap.

Yes. XD He's such a sweetheart, even if he's a perv and thinks he's a dog. And can leap about six feet in the air to attack your face when you ignore him too long.... (Okay, he's a psycho too...) When he was just a kitten he actualy leapt into the shower with me once and then freaked, hoped out and clawed at the door crying and shivering. O.o I guess the sound of the water running made him curious... I still to this day don't know where he was hiding in there, because I didn't see him until he came flying in with me.

I won't be getting it unless it makes it to PS2, which I doubt since they've got PS3 now. -.-

Basically just more features. You can have nine different body types for Sims now (rather than just fat or skinny) and they change constantly throughout the game based on whether your Sim is pigging out and being a couch potato, or working out and eating healthy.

Neighbourhoods are continuous now. When you are playing as a family, they can walk down the street into someone elses house to visit friends. They can go joyriding around town (controlled by you) in their cars, and their careers are a lot more player-controllable instead of "read the book until you have this many skill points and get promoted".

They also have personalities. There are about thirty or forty personality traits, and you choose five for each Sim to make them stand out from the others. You can also choose their favourite food, music genre, and colour, and these choices are also reflected in gameplay.

There are also spiffy new video options for machinima makers ^^

MOG, if it weren't for my allergies, I'd kidnap your cat and your brother in a heartbeat.

Wow the new version sounds really cool... I'm kinda tempted to but it and end up being totally distracted by it. ;;;

Waaaaaant... Waaaaant.... *Looks at new sims game longingly*

Well.... I did just get the old computer for my rooom (With no net service but I can use it for writing and games) so maybe....

You and your kidnapping ideas. Psh. *Eyeroll* You'd return them both within three days. Trouble is the kind who shows his affection by trying to eat your face or limbs. My brother has become the king of annoying. -.-

Pffft. I'm not a gentle person. I'm pretty sadistic so I'd torture them to submission.

*schemes evily*

I've been reading too much manga lately. There's an innate relative sadism to the japanese culture compared to my own that perveses me a bit.

*appears out of nowhere and comments on previous part of the conversation *

I have sims 2 and played around with sims 3 (one of my friends has it, I'm too cheap to buy it myself). I thought a lot of the new features were really cool (you can do a lot of fishing related things, I found that amusing), but at the same time I found it a bit overwhelming. There are so many things to do and new parts of the game. I know it adds more depth, but I spent a lot of the time wondering what I should do. (My friend fell asleep while I played).

(Also) I have a cat, but she doesn't love me. She only pretends to when she wants to be fed.

(Another also), how is everyone?

I'll be getting Sims3 for my brother's birthday. I broke down and decided to get it. >.> I'm actualy currently going over what sims we'll make with him. We're trying to decide what traits to give each one. (Like making Luxord a kleptomaniac and Bobobo insane... And making Kyo hot-headed of course. XD) I can't wait.

All cats are like that. lol

Been fine~! And you? (Damn. How long have I been away??? O__O)
