Title:Just
Fandom:Holic
Pairing:Watanuki/Himawari...ish
Genre/s:Angst/Rommance-ish
Summary:He was just a boy, she was just a girl.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just another boy.
To every one of the students in his school, that was all he was. No one paid him any mind.
It was a bit strange. The kids teased each other at any sign of weakness.
So why was it that he, a boy who saw spirits and who found himself yelling at said beings on a daily basis, was just ignored?
These thoughts would never cross his mind, though.
He was just another boy. Why should anyone spare him a glance?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just another girl.

She was alone, afraid to reach out to anyone. Afraid of the pain she might cause.

She smiled and laughed with others. But she was never close. She talked to them in passing and went her own way. To do otherwise would only hurt someone.

She was neither popular or unpopular. Somewhere in between. People knew her. People spoke to her. But no one really thought of her as a friend.

She was just another girl. Why should anyone try to look deeper?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just another day.
She sees him every day and thinks he looks so lonely. He walks to school alone. He sits alone. He eats his lunch alone.
No one sees him. No one speaks to him.
And then, he walks home alone.
It's just another day. Why should it be any different?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just another crush.

He sees her. He thinks she's cute. And kind.

He wants to say hello but doesn't.

He doesn't think she could accept him.

How could anyone accept him?

She's just another crush. Why should he set himself up for a fall?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just another classmate.
She sees him eating alone again. And she feels she needs to say hello.
She smiles. He smiles.
She thinks he has a nice smile.
They talk for a while and she has to remind herself that she can't get too close.
They part ways and she feels a little sad.
But he's just another classmate. Why should she hope for anything more?
Nice. Really, the solemn tone suits you, and the focus on the "just another" is infuriating enough to make you want it to be something more. I would have preferred a conclusion of sorts, but that might have changed the approach you were taking. Good job.
An excerpt from Animporhs, Marco narrates:
We yanked off our uniforms, I looked around humans only. Empty chair! Just one, but it would do.
"May we join you?"
.
.
.
"There's only one chair."
"It's okay, we're very good friends." I sat down and yanked Ax down onto my lap.
You are very welcome.
No, it's not is it? When the admins return, we should do something about that.
10 seconds is actually a pretty long time if you think about it.
You should see some of the things I've done when influenced by caffeine overload... I sent a friend a post I was doing on LJ and got a "What are you smoking, girl?!" reply. *Snigger*
