Although 'Mint is one of the newer members of Benecio, she has proven since then to be an amazing member. Highly active, with some brilliant ideas and characters, and just generally friendly, what is not to love about her? All around a wonderful winner for the January OTM spotlight.

Although she tied with N'riv for this spotlight, Lynx had the upperhand in her patience. As our weyrlingmaster, she is beyond dedicated, and dispite having several problem students, she has kept her composure quite well. Still, with her three pet firelizards, she is a great teacher, and well deserving of our spotlight.

Partnered with V'mos, Buddhath is the Benecio Weyr resident Male Rouge. Born from Junoths constellation clutch, he is a socialite to an extreme. Out to enjoy life, he is quite a lighthearted dragon, who loves to play up the hero card. Still a young dragon, it should be interesting to see this spotlight winner grow up.

Fireheights
Here at the highest point of the Weyr you can see everything. The mountains behind provide enough protection from most the elements that wind isn't too much an issue, and the open plains before the weyr make it easy to watch all with little to no worries for those on watch.

Hatching Grounds
The main entrance to the sands is within the weyr, other than that you must get in from dragonback. With two sections, the sands and the stands, there is room for everyone, candidates and spectators alike. With a large stone shelf higher than the stands for the dragons to watch as well. The sands are burning hot, so unless you've got feet of stone, grab your boots on the way.

Weyrs
Everyone needs a home, be it dragon, wher, or human. And Benecio is the perfect place to live, with such spacious and comfortable weyrs, everyone can settle in nicely.
Only the Queens weyr and the weyrlings weyrs can be reached by ground, other than that, there are multiple levels of weyrs to be reached by flight for dragons, and stairs from within by riders.

The Lower Caverns
Here in the center of the weyr, there is always something abuzz, be it gossiping weyrbrats or busy laboring drudges. There is no reason for the Lower caverns to ever be silent as the plains of Benecio.

The Open Valley
The open valley of Benecio Weyr provides the perfect shelter. The valley is open for the most part, sheltered a bit by the mountains Benecio is nestled in, and it stretches for miles before Benecio.

The Skies About The Weyr And The Fields Around
For all flights be they dragon of Fire Lizard, be they drill flights or mating flights. As well as for Wher runs, a nice stretch of land perfect for such an event.

Fresh Spring Lake
This lake is formed by a mountainous spring that flows down from the mountains surrounding Benecio. It is constantly cold, and absolutely frigid in the spring when the snow run off makes its way to the lake.

The Benecio Plains
The wide open grass lands past the hunting grounds and surrounding the lake. Dragons come here to relax and get away. If you travel far enough you'll hit the ocean.

The Ocean Shore
Far past the lake and far from the Weyr, the water is salty, sea bird chatter fills the air. A good place to find a fire lizard clutch if you know how to find them. And a good place to go fishing if you're into that.
