Who's your favourite leader?

So who's you favourite leader in any of the lands visited in BK? I'd say mine is Queen Corellia, just because of her design, personality (minus the whole neutrality thing) and voice in the first game. A close second would be Duke Calbren, just because he's AWESOME, epecially with his mad hatter hat!!!

Wish I could say about the Great Kamroh, but I'm not that far in the game.

Ladekahn! Just because in Origins, he seemed awesome. Not sure about Eternal Wings, but his character design is cool there, too.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of the Children of the Earth, and Corellia and Rodolfo always got on my nerves.

King Ladekhan was my favourite in both games. But his outfit was SO awesome in EW, and let's face it, he's awesome by default. He's so brave, so handsome, and...awesome. I love him to pieces. And his voice actor is sexy. Yes.

I hated Corellia, both games. She's annoying and unhelpful >_>;; I always love it when Kalas says "That's right. Stay nice and fair, while the whole world falls apart around you!" ---> so true. In my opinion at least. And Rodolfo was annoying. And Geldoblame...well, he's an nuisance XD

But I liked Lord Calbren <3

Does Xelha count? She's technically the queen of Wazn, so I'd say her too. I liked Xelha a lot~

I like EW Ladekahn. He's not quite as cool in Origins, but he grows into it.

Ladekahn, because he is cool, and because he is from Diadem.

I like Geldobutt because there's a million ways to make fun of him.

If not, I'm going to have to parrot mostly everyone else and pick Ladekhan.

I most people choose Ladekahn because he seems like the most reasonable leader. Geldoblame's an evil gay clown, Rodolfo's a coward, Calbren's a stupid coward, Corellia's a wimp, and Xelha can get on some people's nerves. I have to admit though, the Great Kamroh is pretty cool, even if his throne is a fat suit. XD

I think that's in both games. I think when I left my GC on for the shampoo thing, I would always leave Kalas sitting behind it. But I don't really remember.

By the way, another vote for Ladekahn here. He's reasonable, and the design of his outfit is cool.

How does that count as being a coward? Most people would have done the same. Not out of cowardice, but out of love.

Hmm, I'm thinking Geldoblame or Kamroh. (EW) Geldoblame because of his.. Last moments. It was so creepy that it somehow ended up being cool, imo. And Kamroh.. Just because he's so odd. xD

Other than him, EW Ladekahn, because like Shrimpy said, he does seem like the most reasonable.

Also, Corellia pissed me off with the whole neutrality thing. I mean, I understand the concept and all, but.. With a threat as big as Malpy, it didn't make too much sense.

Ladekahn's always been my favorite, mostly for the same reasons as everyone else (he's reasonable, he has a cool design, etc). Calbren grew on me after a while, but I'm still kind of meh about him.

Duke Calbren may be kind of a jackass for what he did to Melodia, but he interests me the most out of all the leaders, mostly due to his relationship with Mel, which I guess makes him my favorite. I have a horror movie that parallels something like what he did to Mel, because "anything done out of love takes place beyond good and evil" [spoilers!] even if it means bringing back to life your child/niece so they can become emotionally confused monstrosities. By the way, I just realized that i don't remember how Calbren brought her back in the first place. Does anyone know? [/spoilers]

Ladekahn still gets points for being the most badass leader in my book, however. And, of course, I adore Xelha. Rodolfo can go intercourse himself.

I must confess that I don't remember exactly how he did it. . . I seem to recall a voice speaking to him, offering to bring her back, though it didn't tell him that the price was her soul. . . Or am I just mixing up Melodia's story with Hotaru Tomoe/Sailor Saturn's from Sailor Moon and he just used the End Magnus somehow?

Yeah just completely disregard what I said. I think I was mixing her and Hotaru's story togther....

I'm pretty sure it was as simple as Calbren using the power of the End Magnus (DUDE JUST USE A SACRED WINE) to ressurect Melodia, which was probably how Malpercio was able to have such a strong influence on her. I don't remember anything about the price being her soul.

And that is why I theorize that most resurrecting items and spells don't literally bring the dead back to life. Either the item revives someone who was knocked unconcious, or it saves them from a life-threatening blow or inuries. If a person is actually dead, that's it. It can't do a thing.

I was just joking when I said that. I actually had the same theory.
