Staring out at the Rows of Green Grass

[Houndoomed]

"This wouldn't be a bad spot to rest...", thought Tai. I might stay here a little while."

Tai had been looking for a place to stay for days, but none were of his interest. This was the best by far, and a nice place to lie down, too.

[Jack]

The rustling of the grass created by Tai's feet caught the attention of another nearby Houndoor. She waited until you were close enough by hiding low in the grass. When you were close enough she leapt out and Tackled you to the ground, without realising that you were a fellow Houndoor. She glanced at you after Tackling you and saw that you were a fellow Houndoor indeed. "Oh, you're a Houndoor too... Sorry." She said, blushing. "I'm Tara."

[Houndoomed]

Tai blinked, confused from the sudden movement and got up.

"Might look before you think then, eh? Anyways, I'm Tai. It's been a long time since I've seen another Houndour around. How long have you been here for?"

[Jack]

"All my life. I was born here, and I live here. And yeah... Sorry about tackling you. It's just you know how it is. We Houndoors don't like other Pokémon invading our personal territory... Oh by the way, the whole of these plains isn't my territory... Just this partiuclar area... I'm not strong enough to protect a territory the size of Emerald Plains on my own..." Tara said. She looked at you curiously... "You're young aren't you..."

[Houndoomed]

Tai shuffled his feet.

"Heh.. I've been one for a while now. But I'm a lot stronger than your average one year old Houndour! So.. what kind of Pokemon live in these parts?"

[Jack]

"Lots of Grass Pokémon. Great for training when you're part fire." Tara chuckled. "A few flying types hang around here too. We Houndoors don't usually hang round here. I'm only here because I was born here while my Mother was crossing the plains. I came here after I was ready to leave my mother's care because I wanted to live where I was born. Anyway, Did you say One Year Old? That is young. I'm three years old."
